Our last shoot together was super fitness-driven and all in monochrome — very controlled, very minimal.

This time we went the complete opposite direction.

As colorful as it gets.

This is our second time working together, and after the last set, we both knew we wanted to run something back. The idea was to keep it “simple” and studio-focused… but honestly, lighting like this is never as easy as it looks. Getting the color balance right, keeping skin tones clean while pushing that magenta/green contrast — there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.

That said, this kind of setup is perfect for this time of year. Upstate New York is pretty brutal right now — everything’s dead, gray, and muddy — so I’ve been leaning more into controlled studio work instead of fighting bad locations.

Tricia absolutely killed this set. The posing, the confidence, everything just clicked. It’s a totally different energy from the last shoot, and I think that contrast makes both sets hit even harder.

Definitely one of my favorite studio looks I’ve done in a minute.
