Weekly Update 11/2024 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I want to delve into what it truly means to feel "excited." Today, I discussed with the Marketing Department how to approach this week's update. He was insistent that I use the term "excited." However, the truth is, even at +29 degrees Celsius with a beer in hand and my ass in the pool, I'm not "excited." Happy? Absolutely. But not "excited."

I've been experimenting with new postwork techniques to achieve a cinematic effect this week. It's all about looking towards the future. While I can't divulge specific details just yet, as things are still taking shape, I can tell you that I'm "excited!" (this adjective was insisted upon by the Marketing Department. I'd prefer to say I'm feeling "ambivalent.") I'll be sharing pictures and polls periodically and encourage you to participate. By autumn, we'll all see where we've ended up.

On a more serious note, as bizarre as it sounds, my boss got bitten by a sick fly at work. It's resulted in a flurry of pointless work duties for me, as tends to happen in these situations. Usually, it passes after a couple of weeks, and we all get back to work like responsible adults. But each time, it prompts me to reflect. Therefore, I can't do much with the Nemiegs project now. However, this week pushed me to take a step further. I arranged a business meeting with an AI, which was quite impressive! This AI helped generate a prioritized list of tasks to help move the Nemiegs project forward from its stagnant state over the past couple of years. While I can't reveal much, step one involves creating a Steam account. So, I'm feeling a bit uncertain at the moment. What should I say? If I don't try it, I won't know if it's worth it.

Next week, I'll be starting work on the next SR update, primarily involving dialogues. So, you won't see any preview images just yet. Those will come a week later.

Oh, and by the way, there's a new picture attached featuring the lady's eye colour. You can get a better look at it here. I invite you to vote for your favourite.

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend!

Regards,

Nemiegs
