Weekly Update 18/2025 (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone!
Over the past couple of weeks, while the new game update went through its full release cycle (Early Access, Official, and Public), I didn’t post anything here on Patreon. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t working—it just felt right to step back a bit and let people enjoy the game without unnecessary noise.
I’ve heard rumours floating around on some sites about a potential bug in the latest update. No one on Patreon has reported any issues, but I double-checked the situation and couldn’t reproduce the problem. If anyone is experiencing the issue where Tuesday events appear on Monday and Tuesday, please send me your save file from the end of Sunday. I’ll investigate it directly.
So, what have I been up to lately? Well…
I’ve been fighting with NVIDIA drivers. The Studio drivers don't seem to play well with my tired RTX 3090—it regularly crashes the render queue and leaves me with unpleasant surprises in the morning. The issue is now fixed, and I was almost ready to place the order for the RTX 5090. I had seen the prices come down… but by the time I made the decision, they had jumped back up. Just my luck.To make things trickier, my wife recently lost her job, so a purchase like that needs serious consideration.
On the technical side, I spent time organising DAZ folders and finally created facial expression presets that I’m happy with. Most importantly, I’ve finally made peace with my decision not to work with Genesis 9.I was initially drawn in by how natural Golden Palace 9 looked in idle poses. But after testing it in real NSFW situations, I realised it only looks good when it’s not doing anything. Functionally it’s a mess.
That experience helped me pinpoint the real downside of Golden Palace 8 compared to competitors. So, I rolled up my sleeves and did some serious testing—manual geometry changes, polygon by polygon.I created hundreds of custom morphs and gradually built approximately 20 unique models, each with corresponding posing morphs and proper bone structures. The result looks more natural than ever, and it’s much easier to work with now.
During this time, I also made progress on many smaller tasks for the game, but I won’t tire you with all the details.
In parallel, the remastering process is going strong:A full three game weeks have already been remastered. You’ll find some before/after previews below. 👇
Starting following Monday, I’ll begin full-time work on the next game update.
Thanks again for your support and patience—it keeps this project alive!
