Hey everyone,

First of all, thank you for your patience. I know I’ve been quiet for a few weeks, so let me explain why.

The past month has been tough. I caught a strange flu that took far too long to recover from. On top of that, I had to make a personal transition: after many years of serving as a volunteer soldier, I officially stepped away due to an old knee injury that was already affecting my daily life. The bureaucratic process of leaving was both mentally and practically draining.

And then, there was another factor. I received an indirect suggestion that the game should be adjusted to ensure compliance with Patreon’s rules. It reminded me just how fragile the project can sometimes feel — and how important it is to safeguard its future.

Many of you already know that, alongside new updates, I’ve also been working on a full remaster of Special Request. Originally, the plan was simply to improve quality, re-render all images and videos for consistency, and rewrite certain parts of the early story to make them sharper and more logical. It’s been hard work — but it paid off.

I’m very excited to announce that the next release will be the remastered version — specifically, the first two weeks. And it will be released almost a full month earlier than usual!

What to expect:

* Around 400 entirely new images, never seen before. On top of the remastered old material.

* A brand new GUI and visual polish across the whole engine.

* Rewritten and refactored story elements: clearer, sharper, more logical.

* Removed dead-end plotlines, replaced with new scenes that strengthen the narrative.

* Integrated “kinetic” mode as the easy path.

This is more than a visual upgrade. It’s a creative overhaul: a remaster that contains as much new material as a normal release, but wrapped in fresh, modern quality.

One important note: old save games will not work. The codebase is being rebuilt from scratch for stability, and the story adjustments make backwards compatibility complicated. But I promise — you’ll want to re-experience everything from the start.

Most importantly, this remaster ensures that Special Request now complies with the content policies of Patreon, Subscribestar, Steam, and their payment processors. That means I no longer have to worry about being shut down, and the road is finally clear for expansion to platforms like Steam — something many of you have asked about.

Let me also emphasise: the core story, atmosphere, conspiracies, heroes, and villains all remain the same. What changes are the mechanics of psychological manipulation and the way characters are drawn into PAM’s world. The dark tone, tension, and sense of danger are still there.

Going forward, here’s the release plan:

* First: Weeks 1–2 Remastered

* Then: Weeks 3–4

* Finally: Weeks 5–6

This staged release enables me to gather feedback early and refine it as I progress.

It has been a strange and difficult pause, but it clarified my direction. I’m deeply grateful for your continued support. You are the reason this project is still alive — and I want you to know that even in moments of silence or doubt, I am working to deliver the best possible version of Special Request.

It's been years since I played the first few weeks, so I won't notice any changes to the content or censorship 😉. I remember the game starting slowly, but it always had an aura of danger and made me want to keep going to see what would happen. I also remember Laura breaking the fourth wall with the player while changing clothes in her room 😄. Once the remasters are finished, will they be combined with the rest of the content from week 7 onwards? That is, the content that doesn't need remastering. Are the first two weeks remastered a new exe?

Remastering the first two game weeks will likely require the most creative work, as these are where the changes are most significant. Starting from the third week, there will be fewer changes, and I will mostly need to review every dialogue to ensure it is consistent with the story updates. The deeper into the game, the fewer changes are needed, and I can leave everything almost as is. When the remaster is finished, I will continue to build the game from where I left off in the previous update. In essence, I still think it is possible to pick up where we left off in week six and still understand the story. So I assume that I will still create a mechanism that allows you to skip five weeks of the game and resume it near the end without needing a save file. Regarding the executable file for the first two weeks, I am still rendering the necessary new events. I will start coding after that. I will publish the first week's exe file as soon as it is ready.

This would be the third time I've started the game over from the beginning. I guess it's worth it, but ultimately the story is always the same. Maybe you should have made it a Visual Novel instead of a sandbox game?

WOW, it sounds really interesteing!

Visual novel instead of sandbox is what I am considering right now. No decision made yet. Probably we will have something in between.

Special Request is a fantastic game. It gives me even more motivation to eliminate "human garbage" . It's nice that there will be a remaster because the best a porno scene have a lot's of bugs 😕
