Weekly Update 3/2026 — Stress, Doubt, and the Final Countdown (Patreon)
Content
Hello, great people!
I’m a couple of days late with this update, which means I’ve officially missed my own internal “Friday update schedule.” So, let’s get started.
This week, I coded the first two days of Chapter 2. Once day three is ready, I’ll let my loyal supporters play through it. That part is coming soon.
I’m also moving forward with rendering new images, and I plan to continue that work next week. All of that is good. Solid. According to the plan.
But that’s not this week’s headline.
Stress. Stress. Stress.
I haven’t been this nervous since the birth of my youngest son.
This Friday is the big day — the official Steam release of Chapter 1.
(If anyone wants to follow it there, here’s the link.)
And now I’m just… sitting here. Fidgeting.
I’ve reread all the dialogue for the fifth time. Some parts were rewritten and polished. A few scenes were re-rendered. And now — for fuck’s sake — I’m staring at the images and asking myself:
Are they too sharp?
Too crisp?
Do I need to run the entire post-processing pipeline again just to soften them slightly?
What the hell is wrong with me?
Seriously — what do you think?
Are the Chapter 1 images over-sharpened… or is this just pre-release brain rot?
Uff.
Friday.
On Friday, the game will be out. And this will be over.
Or it will begin...
At this point, my brain has fully turned into butter.
I hope you’re doing better than I am.
Wishing you a great week ahead—and thank you, as always, for your support.
