This week, I continued working on Chapter 2 in holy innocence, rendering events chronologically like a disciplined adult.

That lasted until Wednesday.

On Wednesday I opened my planning Excel sheet, leaned back in my chair, admired how beautifully everything was moving according to schedule…...and then realised the schedule itself was wrong.

Slowly but surely, I’m adapting to the reality of Steam. And this week I realised something important: Steam influences not only what I release, but also how I plan.

Practically speaking, the very first thing I now need to get out of my system is the NSFW content. It must be rendered first, then coded. Only afterwards can I comfortably concentrate on SFW events.

Why? Because the game must be submitted to the Steam gods in its complete form, including all “mischief,” for review. After approval, I can always remove or modify elements and add SFW events if necessary. However, adding new NSFW content later would require another full review cycle — which is…

Those of you who played the legacy version know that, from Week 3 onwards, the NSFW intensity increases significantly. Therefore, I adjusted my plan accordingly and am now focusing solely on NSFW events.

I’ve begun by fully scripting the old scene files that will stay in the remastered version — simply rebuilt correctly.

This does not affect the completion timeline of Chapter 2. It only alters the order in which I work: naughties first, followed by story and additional coding.

That’s it for this week.Have a great weekend — and thank you, as always, for the support.

However, you cannot deny that Steam slowed down development; Capt1 was much faster than this.

Yes. In a sense, it took a lot of time to release Chapter 1 on Steam because of my complete lack of knowledge. I have never used Steam before, even as a player. In the last few months, I've spent just a few weeks on Chapter 2. Now the path is clear, and it should progress much faster. Although the approval period takes time, it also gives me the opportunity to polish the game.

Now that you have reviewed the content from Weeks 3 and 4 of the game, what did you discover? I imagine there were fewer things to remaster than in the first two weeks. By week 4, I think you had already improved the render quality, even in the Legacy version 😁.

Yes, most of week 4 can be used. "Can"... is the right word because modifications are needed to better suit the story. Also, my animation skills were not the best at that time, so all of them will need to be created from scratch. Unfortunately, they need to be scripted and rendered once again as I have lost all DAZ originals. However, to adapt to the story changes, about half of the events will be entirely new.

I don't have the game on this PC that I'm writing on now, but wasn't the parade scene in week 4? The one where Laura and her colleagues were painted white and walked the runway? Those scenes were in my TOP 3™ in the whole game 🤩. It's a shame you lost DAZ originals, that'll delay things 😔. Have a great weekend!

It is week 3. That somehow turned out to be my best work. I think I spent three weeks to make them. They stay.
