Weekly Update 10/2026 (Patreon)

Spring has finally arrived where I live.

For several weeks, it was still pretending to be winter, but now the sun has started showing up again, the snow is almost gone, and the world outside my window finally looks less like a grey debugging screen.

Inside the house, however, the weather has mostly been Chapter 2 dialogue writing.

The good news is that the dialogues are now finished.

My brain survived, although at several points during the week it strongly suggested that I should switch careers and start farming potatoes instead.

The new PCU is installed, the RTX 5090 is up and running, and the machine now sounds somewhere between a roaring lion and an excited rabbit when rendering. Either way — it works.

Which means the next few weeks are about to become the most enjoyable part of development:

images, animations, and rendering.
