Hey since you're Patrons now (thank you!), I'll let you in on the secret side project  I'm working on.

Inspired by a comic (that I haven't made yet) about Myan doing impressions, I was thinking if it would be better if it's animated. I've always wanted to do animations, but the amount of work and lack of experience required just keeps scaring me off.

I decided to get some practice by making small animations without sound, and maybe make it fun for everyone if I can (I always try to make it a win-win for everyone).

So I got the brilliant idea: Act Cat, which is basically playing Charades vs. Myan

My plan is to make it a monthly-ish game (if I'm not too busy with the comic), where each Round lasts a week. During that week, everyone can use the comments section (which I used in Magicat Girl) to make guesses. Each day, Myan will indicate if a guess is correct, warm, colder, etc. Guessing costs points though, and Myan will win if no one guesses correctly before the Round ends.

The website for Act Cat  was actually up a long time ago but it's still under construction and I'm still making the animations. You can read more about the rules here, though I might change them later on. Don't make comments yet there, please!

Hopefully after doing this for a while, maybe I can make some real animations.

This sounds really cool ^^ I guess already working in Flash would make the transition to animation pretty slick in theory! =]

That's one of the reasons why I use Flash to draw in the first place. Animation also involves drawing, but it's an entirely different set of skills though.
