Hello, the Patron that made the initial post found this fix and told me about it : I looked in the log for launch time and found two lines: default 16:44:15.678975+0000 lsd SecTranslocateCreateSecureDirectoryForURL: created /private/var/folders/zj/r5ym01_s5ps8j3m9njdzfrw00000gn/T/AppTranslocation/A9C29F07-1F78-4FF1-913F-F8941A1CA627/d/LancasterBoardingHouse.app error 16:45:23.516153+0000 kernel Sandbox: garcon(516) deny(1) file-read-xattr /Users/samg/Desktop/MAC Lancaster Boarding House Final/LancasterBoardingHouse.app So I changed permissions recursively for all folders in the package contents and it launched.

HS

The Lancaster Boarding House Final Mac English Version is actually French, i've tried downloading it thrice now. Can you please share the link of the english version?

StrandedWithBenefits

Checked it right now, the script is English as it should be. Perhaps you downloaded the French version? Just to be sure download from MEGA and do a clean extract into a new folder, that should do it.

HS

I did try the MEGA clean extract too. Everytime I try to launch the program, I get the error messsage 'The application can't be opened' I thought the google drive link will work, it sort of does but everytime I download the english version, the game opens with a french script. Perhaps the g drive link can be fixed? Or a new one generated if possible?

StrandedWithBenefits

No issue there either, both MEGA and Google Drive English archives are exactly that, in the English language. These games have been uploaded in that format for a pretty long time and nobody has encountered this incredible issue that you seem to have. I'm not sure what to tell you except that the files are the right ones and in the right format... So it has to be something on your side that went wrong for some reason.

HS

Thank you for the timely replies, really appreciate it! It still ain't working for me for god knows what reason but it's fine, I'll try and look for other ways!

James Song

Which one should I download for the lastest one to play Erotica? Do I have to download all of them? or?

AngieLar

Hi Daniels K, I am new to patreon and just discovered your page. I tried the Lancaster Boarding House 1.3 and I love it. No complain about it, but I can not make work the other games. I downloaded them three times and as soon as a click new game, they go black and get frozen. It could be that I unzipped them using winzip? I couldn't find other software.

StrandedWithBenefits

Try using 7zip, a simple google search will find it. Also, the others don't work on MAC as they are build on a different engine. For that you would need software that runs windows exe on MAC, again a google search if your best friend there too. Otherwise, you can try moving them to a different location, running as administrator or change compatibility from right click- properties. Let me know if this solves your issue

AngieLar

Thanks! MGA is working good. I didn't try the rest yet but I hope they will work too. Another question: how can I save the game for a break in MGA?

dave

wow lots in here for $1 - thanks !

dave

Hi - are any of the other games available for MAC?

StrandedWithBenefits

Sadly all the other games were made in a different engine that has poor to no MAC support at all. I tried to release them in MAC format but many Patrons were reporting issues and decided to pull the support so people won't feel cheated.

Chris Busenkell

so is downloading this still a pipe dream?

Chris Busenkell

The link i followed to this page said episode 8 link for cursed affection...what gives?

StrandedWithBenefits

Hello, Cursed Affection Episode 8 is only available to Tier 1+ Patrons, you will not find it here.

StrandedWithBenefits

Sadly the engine was overwhelmed by the size of the game (images and events mostly) and sometimes it reacts this way. You're safe if you save more often. I suggest using two slots to save, just in case one of them gets bugged.

CorblyS

Having issues downloading Dusklight Manor, link keeps timing out during decryption.

Robert Rom

where can I download the game

Robert Rom

I dont wish to upgrade my tier until I can actually see the results. ive tried to play the free game but the maps dont load.

Robert Rom

downloading now. Thank you very much. will now try to find 7 zip

Robert Rom

playing pine falls and it says to be continued. is that the end of part 1

Guts

Are there any android support games?

Riidher66776

If I am not reporting these problems in the right place, please advise, I'm new here. And I am not sure where you want these reported

StrandedWithBenefits

For Pine Falls I can tell you to download the 0.5 version available to you as errors might be possible in the first version. As for Lancaster, the game should be working just fine, this is the first time I see these errors. There could be a problem with your local disk space, or the downloaded files were somehow corrupted. Perhaps try to re download and move the game to another disk drive, see if that does the trick.

BigSarg53

from what I've experienced most Dev's would prefer you send this type of bug report to them in a private message that way it's not overloading the comments section of each post, maybe that's not the case with this Dev but I would give it a try and also the Dev doesn't have to wade through a bunch of comments just to find any bug reports.

GingerMob

Trying to find Pine Falls 2. I came here because I liked Pt. 1 so much. But it's not in the list above. Please help

StrandedWithBenefits

Hello! Pine Falls 2 Final Version is available To Tier 1+ Patrons, it is not available to Freedom Tier.

Tobias

Hi, is the 0.6 version of Pine Falls 1 and 1.8 of Lancaster boarding house the final version of those games?

Paul

What tier unlocks Dusklight Manor Final?

StrandedWithBenefits

Hello! Tier 1 unlocks all the games, including the latest Episode of Nursing Back to Pleasure.

Horacio

So we need to pay a Mega subscription on top of the patreon?

Horacio

It's limited to 5Go so I can't download any of the games

StrandedWithBenefits

Have you tried the instructions in the "if you cannot download" folder? You can find in the NBP or DLM download links.

Horacio

It just says to download the Mega app but it's fine now, I realized I don't need to download the whole thing just the 2Go RAR I need. Thanks

VN ranking

The renders/graphic are marvellous, I'm really impressed. However, I don't like the flickering picture, the constant move disturbs reading and looks unnatural (it is ok only during sex scenes). Maybe the move could be made every 3 seconds and a still picture between, then it would be more pleasant and natural?

StrandedWithBenefits

Are you referring to Brentwood Motel? Do you get a black flicker over the screen? When you say constant move, do you mean the camera movement or the characters moving?

VN ranking

Yes, "Brentwood Motel". Sometimes it's the whole picture/'camera' which moves, sometimes it's the character, depending on the scene. No black flicker, just the constant movement itself is tiring for the eyes.

Raza

Brentwood is damn good for starting some what in the blind. You can easily tell the personalities of characters from the get go. Hope the "To be Continued" isn't a lie!!!

LikItB4IStickIt.

Sometimes a quirk with the path to the .exe breaks it. First thing I do if it consistently crashes and doesn't even launch is extract the zip to desktop and try it there instead of my AVN folder on my D drive. That has fixed it 99% of the time (the 1% being a more complicated bug).

Sam G

Is it possible LBH won't run on Mac OS Monterey? Had to change permissions just to allow me to get past "This application can't be opened", but even after bypassing Gatekeeper it quits before even getting to a splash screen.

Jonathan Hamstead

Please can I have a GoogleDrive link to download Dusklight Manor. MEGA keeps cutting me off and telling me to wait 5 hours.

StrandedWithBenefits

Dusklight Manor only has a google drive link for the completed game, I wasn't using google services back then.
