Yeah I'd imagine this is where lots of people's frustrations with Usopp in Dressrosa come. Literally what he has done since operation SOP started, and especially these 2 episodes, is just mostly stand around and actually discouraging people with his words and attitude all while the Tontatta are fighting and giving it their all. Even Robin tried to help while Usopp just stood by. I also just realized Robin getting turned into a toy was possibly totally avoidable if Usopp participated and attacked in tandem with her. Robin holds down Trebol and Usopp shoots one of his plants on sugar. We have seen he has plants that can really immobilize people and it would be without making any physical contact to sugar. On top of that Sugar seems like she's kinda a scaredy-cat so the plant would have had that bonus effect as well. But instead Usopp just stands around while others are risking themselves -_- The toys surviving Trebol's attacks was definitely unsurprising because One Piece but you'd expect they would at least have some burns from literally being lit on fire.. but somehow absolute none at all lol I feel like these two were definitely the weakest Dressrosa episodes so far even with the cool Kyros reveal. Just lots of "One Piece- moments" and stuff not moving forward much.

I don't think rebecca is 16 at this point anymore. The flashback was from the first time she started fighting in the colloseum. In the present she's already a seasoned fighter that's well known

it's definetly 16, that scene was a flashback from "this morning", you can see that from the fact that all the prisoner were devastated from the "fake report"

It should be noted that the goo Trebol produces when he sticks the Tontattas is flammable. He himself isn't. A bit like Mr.3, he can make wax as hard as steel, but he can also make normal soft wax.

Something you have to know now is that Usopp has forgotten that Robin exists.

I'm not really sure what Oda was going for with Usopp's character in this arc, he comes back after the timeskip acting like a big shot but dressrosa is easily his lowest point in the whole series, he is totally spineless and honestly despicable in how many times he tries to abandon the tontatta throughout the arc which makes no sense when you consider his character a whole. I get you need to write low points in order to have pay off but there's no reason for this shift in his character, he doesn't even try to be brave for most the arc and it takes the tontatta literally being at death's door before he takes anything seriously.

That was a flashback from that same day... did you watch the episode? She even mentions getting the Flare Flare fruit and right before that people are talking about the throne abdication in that same flashback. What you are saying is impossible.
