The Patreon reactions act as a watch-along being uncut with a timer on screen! This way, you can watch my full reaction by syncing up the show on an official platform on another device, another tab on your computer, etc.

Thorgil is so ruthless especially with the ears, even askeladd or thorkell didn't have a necklace like that. Also, it would nice to see how long people are subscribed in patreon. I think I have been a member continuously since dec 2021.

I'm not an expert on the Norse culture, but I believe "thing" is an Old Norse term for an assembly or tribal council rather than an English word.

season 2 is so gas man every episode delivers something different while keeping the story pushing

Hey Jack. On Mappa's YouTube Channel there is an Vinland Saga season 2 Episode 6.5 called "Drowning in the Shadow" which is only 2minutes 35seconds long. It's basically the first half of the scene that is at the beginning of episode 8 that gives more context to that scene(Not sure why they didn't call it 7.5 instead 🤷🏿‍♂️ since the beginning of episode 8 picks up where 6.5 left off). There's no need for subtitles because there's no talking in the scene. You can have a mod or someone here confirm what I'm talking about. Dunno if you want to watch it on your own before the episode or somehow include it in the reaction. It's up to you.

"Thing" is a ceremonial meeting for nordic peoples. Also Snake is just a hired hand, not Ketil's relative.

A Sagge

We have been blessed by 2 episodes this early in the week. Also, not sure about the streak but been around since HxH

I just Checked how long ive been subbed to you on patreon because i got curious when you talked about it. Its been since January 2023. Watched your youtube for a while before that too tho. Keep up the good work!

Chrispz

omg im norwegian and i didnt get it before you said it xP (if thats what they actually mean.) Ting or Tinget is basicly a council but ting can also be used as thing!

Y0m0three

Yeah don't know what you expected Arnheid's job to be here, she's a female slave who is the master's "attendant". Although from what we see of their relationship her role is more emotional support than anything sexual.

Saku

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's about a council, as I heard Thorgil say "minkai" in Japanese, which means a civil meeting :) Thanks for the info on Ting!

Justin Moore

Been around since the late shippuden days. Has been a ride lol

SquatMaster

Classic Vinland saga, gives you hope just to take it away! So excited to see your reactions to everyone's journey in this show. My favorite part of this story is just how flawed yet understandable each character is. Been round since jjk but watching YouTube since naruto 😜

Sebastian Scharf

I dont know if anyone said this already but Snake is not one of Ketils sons but rather just a sellsword

Zoro9978

Yo jack, i recommend you to start that time i got reincarnated as a slime after you finish vinland, what do you think? (season 3 just got released)
