Your reaction did not disappoint Jack. We finally have the reveal of Sanjis family name. I will say no more until we get to the moment but you had best get that board ready to take notes.

SimStu

It's time.

Jukyu

Finally.

Difference between being in love or loving the women in front of you that are beautiful and being wed away forcefully to someone you have never met.

EmJay

Yes, the scene where they find Nolan the Liar book and Sanji says he's from North Blue did happen in the anime, way back in episode 100-something (just before Skypeia). Oda truly is a madman. He dropped that seemingly innocuous bit of Sanji lore and then, after ALMOST TWO DECADES, be like "Oh, yeah, fyi: Sanji's got ANOTHER backstory :D"

chrisis

the way oda weaved this into the story after alluding to it YEARS ago is incredible !!

Zou was such a ride of twists and turns. You feel like you've got the hang of things only to be thrown a curveball😂😂😂really enjoying Jack's reactions to it all😂😂😂

FiruMew

does he have the reactions on a higher tier or did he just record ahead and is barely posting zou?

pablo

why would he be jumping for marriage when that means losing his crew or making luffy a subordinate

Amal Naseer

Zou is the arc of twists and reveals. It'll blow your mind more than once from now

Vinny Deluca

Yeah Sanji said all that in Jaya, and we have had the OP map for a long time, since East Blue lol

Umar Baig

When Jack was sitting there explaining what happened to Sanji after the first episode, I was just sitting here saying no Jack no Jack no Jack it's something way else😂

pepperomashka

day 2 of asking Jack to cosplay Capone "Gang" Bege! Oh I mean Caesar

Ozzywaldi

Fair enough if he’s that far ahead that’s great but others on here maybe watching for the first time and the one piece community has a reputation for spoiling a lot of things so I will still wait until he posts it up on here before making my comments

Destiny Samuel

You actually tapped into something on the end there- really interesting pickup. I won’t spoil what it is or what you said, but it’s cool that you noticed it your first time around, cause I didn’t

Yes, that scene where Sanji says he is from the North Blue actually happened, word for word. GODA foreshadowing once again. Sanji is not going to want to marry a woman he has never even seen, even he has standards. I think you also underestimate how much the crew actually means to him. The crew means everything to him. If he was really the kind of guy who just chase women over being with the crew, he would have stayed in Dressrosa to try to be with Violet who actually seemed to be into him. As for the map of One Piece, I don't know _how_ early it was established that the seas were 4 quadrants split up by the Red Line and the Grand Line like on that map, but it was definitely established many times (I think). You've been shown plenty of maps dividing them as shown at various points where it was relevent (entering and exiting grand line and new world). At the very least, I checked and I know that in episode 61 of the anime Nami herself shows a world map that is the same as the one you just saw and Nami explains the geography. Other times it may have come up are when Don Krieg was explained to have crossed the calm belt to exit the grand line, or the crew getting to the New World through Fishman Island. So yeah, I don't think that this was meant to come as a surprise to the audience... but forgetting stuff in such a long series is natural. It's possible that even though they explained the world geography and showed the map several times they never put labels on the map labeling the 4 seas specifically so it just went over your head. I have no clue, though, and I don't have time to check all of that.
