If you remember back to jaya, sanji even says that he's read noland the liar before when they find it. Please go back and find that episode its fucking absurd. GODA the goat does it again.

Sanji was my favorite even before this but the whole backstory just made me like him more. Easily best straw hat for me

Oda will keep cooking for a long while more. This entire arc is really well written. The pasing is very good(up until the final third). There are so many great twists and turns. Also, obligatory 2 episodes left until THAT fight! Monday will be hype!

Gotta say, considering how most of Sanji's family treated him like shit, it was pretty wholesome to see that the Germa soldiers respected and showed genuine care for him (the crowd of soldiers were crying during his fake death announcement last episode). They're programmed to serve the Vinsmokes, but at least they didn't ever think of him as a failure. They were more human than his and brothers!

@EmJay Either that or he just found a woman with good genes and forced her to bear his children so that his children would have the best genes possible. Either way she is a victim in this, too.

I guess they are programmed to be loyal, but their emotions were left in tact... or partially in tact. At least when it comes to their masters. It's crazy how Judge is just a normal human being, and yet he is more soulless than his mass produced army that have suppressed emotions.

Judge has to be one of the most evil guys in all of One Piece, he's complete scum. He had kids just so he could biologically alter them into soulless super weapons for his army, and was seemingly planning on keeping Sanji imprisoned in that jail cell with the helmet for life. If you didn't understand the point of the helmet, it's to rob Sanji of his identity as Judge's son. He wants to pretend that his "failure" Sanji is dead by making to so nobody can see his face ever again. It's sickening.

Also Reiju saying "The sea is broad! You'll definitely meet kind people someday!!" is a clear parallel to Jaguar D. Saul saying that exact same thing to Robin as a child. How wholesome is is that Robin and Sanji both heard those words and ended up as friends in the same crew? I'm sure that during Water 7 Sanji's heart understood the pain of solitude that Robin endured, and he wanted to save her like how Zeff and others saved him.

You have to feel awful for Reiju, too, for what she has endured over all these years. I feel like Reiju wanted to escape with Sanji since I doubt she enjoyed living with Germa and she cared about Sanji, but she knew that Judge would go after her since Reiju is a valuable asset to his military. Reiju never even had the option to run away like Sanji did, but at least they don't physically and mentally abuse her to the same degree as Sanji.

The way I hate Vinsmoke Judge needs to be studied.
