I mean, those are basically both considered islands. Both Wano and Alabasta are both island nations. You can be technical and say Alabasta is a kingdom that is on Sandy Island but that is pretty irrelvent since it's the only kingdom on the island and they own all of the land there. Same thing with Wano.

@Blackest Hippy Since when are unsanswered questions bad? Those other things are not necessarily needed either for an amazing arc. Earlier arcs will naturally host more character development, that's just how stories go. I say this as someone whose favorite arc is still enies lobby... Wano gets an easy 2nd imo and there are plenty of arguments to have it first.
