GOATPIECE

957 is the first episode directed by Megumi Ishitani, the quality difference is crazy. Every episode she directs feels like it's own self contained movie, so damn good.

Sengoku did indeed have his goat with him

The reason episode 957 was so visually captivating was because Megumi Ishitani directed it. You, of course, know her work from One Piece Fan Letter. She has this way with any episode she handles and her work is always a masterpiece. There's still 2 major episodes that she worked on in Wano and I'm certain you'll love them. Honestly the way Oda just keeps teasing the Reverie is hilarious. However, I always loved how packed these episodes always were. Can't wait for your next reaction.

On the topic of X Drake(which is minor compared to everything else in these couple of episodes), we knew when he was introduced that he was a Rear Admiral that had deserted the Navy and become a pirate. But now this episode reveals he's actually still a part of the Navy. Take into account that the first thing he did when he got to the New World was attack an island that was under Kaido's control, and next time we see him he's worked his way up to the Tobi Roppo, so he's already part of Kaido's inner circle. All of this implies that, from the very beginning, he faked deserting the Navy in order to infiltrate Kaido's crew.

You are starting some of the juicest parts of One Piece. The next section will just ramp and ramp and ramp... even after wano. good luck for your voice. o7

Jack... another fun fact that's not an spoiler, since Oda had already reveled it on an SBS before this manga chapter was published ... Blackbeard main ship is named "Saber of Xebec..." 🤓☝️ and that's it, i'll leave you to continue to process the multiple mindblows you have had on this 2 past episodes 🙃

Important information: No ‘Pirate’ has surpassed Roger bounty. So there is still chance for someone ‘not Pirate’ that had/has higher bounty than Roger.

Cleric7

two of my favorite episodes ever, the amount of lore is outrageous

It is September 2026 as I'm here binge-watching your reactions and we literally have a movie announced for God Valley now! I jumped out of my seat a little when you said, "Make an entire movie about it!" Your observation haki is obscene Jack idk how you do it
