I was so hyped and than I remembered it's a single episode 😭

canadian shnitzl

Getting 1 ep being so close to caught up hurts my soul

felix11

my theory is that luffy's true dream is to have a banquet with every country/person in the world somehow

Gita

Jack... they have been mentioning the Rocky Port incident involving Law, Koby, and Blackbeard since we met Law in Punk Hazard. The reason why Law became a Warlord is solely because of that incident. Mentioned it again in Dressrosa, and mentioned it again on the way to Reverie when Koby saved Dressrosa Kingdom's ship.

Fae

My theory on luffy's dream is something along the lines of "I'm not free until everyone is free"

Gita

Yes, there is more to Luffy's dream, and Oda has been dropping the clue from episode 400 in Sabaody (in anime), where Shanks mentioned to Rayleigh that Luffy's words are the same exact words as Roger's. He said, "Rayleigh-san, there was one kid in East Blue who said the same words as Captain. Those exact same words." and that's why he always said he bet his arm on New Generation bc he saw Roger in Luffy. He even said to Luffy that he couldn't give him the Straw Hat, but after hearing Luffy's dream, it changed. Yamato also confirmed what Shanks said in episode 1015, that Luffy's dream is the same as Roger's, which captivated and intrigued Oden to follow him to the last Island. And also the reason why Yamato imagined that iconic scene of Luffy running up the hill, in front of Roger. Because they are saying the exact same thing. And that's why every time we see ASL flashback on that specific hill spelling about their dreams, Luffy's dream has always been covered, since the very first time. You can rewind back to those episodes around 491-503. We just assumed his dream is King of the Pirates, since he always said that up front, but it has always been more than that; we didn't connect the dots enough.

Nermin Selimovic

to add to this, it NEVER made sense that the same words Luffy said that Roger was saying were "i wanna become the King of the Pirates" because we pretty early got the info, that the WORLD named him King of the Pirates, being the first to circumnavigate the whole world, reaching the "final island". We can even go further and say: who the f*** knew that he was at the "final" island and dropped that bombshell? so we can even assume that there is an overseer (later we found out about Imu) that must have known about the location and fate of the World before the void. And considering Imu not being a big fan (prolly) there even could be someone else overseeing. And here may the prior crew or even the man himself come into play: Joy Boy.

Daniel Ayala

Do y’all even pay attention lol

Daniel Ayala

To be fair he did say it was gonna be a 1 episode upload

Gita

Yep, if we sit and think about Shanks' words in eps 400, we will get a clue that the words that Roger and Luffy said aren't to be King of the Pirates, following later that Luffy said the King is the freest person on the sea, which indicates there is more to it. But the scene was like a fleeting amount of information at that time, with so many lore drops in that exact episode, and after 600 episodes, it's easy to forget such information and just think that it's King of The Pirates than dig more to it.

Captaintrips

Yeah in Marineford it's also made pretty clear during the Roger/WB conversation. Roger says something like "Guess what they're calling me now!" after he conquered the grand line. So King of the Pirates came AFTER Laugh Tale. His words/dream were never related to being pirate king in the first place.

Mike Drop

Get used to it. In a couple of weeks it will be 1 episode to the end

chopchop

Im glad Jack realised that what Luffy said is what Ace told Yamato in 1015

TheLegendOfSora73

Since you're caught up with One Piece, you're probably spending a lot more time recording your Bleach reactions. Exactly how far along are you???

Uselesskazuma

Check his AniList, he keeps it up-to-date very often so you can see there how far he is

Umar

episode 12

Y0m0three

This man's obsession with the Boa seraphim's earrings is crazy. They're just earrings bro, she's literally just wearing them because she's meant to resemble Boa. It ain't always that deep, really.

Umar

yeah Shakky (Rayleigh's wife) was the pirate empress two generations ago you missed that as well which the shorty old lady granny Nyon told Hancock about a pirate empress who fell in love with someone and left the island

Saya Scarlet

Man, when that song starts playing.. as Luffy tells his dream to the Crew off-screen.. T_T

Saint Bonnie🎭™

I didn’t tear up, there were tears that ran down my face but I did not in fact tear up

DiamonDust

I think that Rayleigh loses to Blackbeard, but only in the fight itself. In terms of the raw power of his Haki, Rayleigh has Blackbeard beat for sure. This is why he uses his superior Haki to bluff, but it's his physical body and stamina that has waned rather than his Haki. In a drawn out battle, Rayleigh will tire long before Blackbeard and lose. The pacifista's earrings likely don't matter, Jack. It is likely just a style thing. This is like asking why Doflamingo wears his pointy glasses and pointy shoes. The important thing to note is that the pacifista's are clearly modeled after the warlords and meant to replace them. We will likely be given more info in the future, but I see it as "let's make genetic cyborg clones of these super strong warlords that are unable to disobey us". It's pretty straight forward as a cloning subplot.

Blackest Hippy

Bro’s about to be annoying with these damn earrings isn’t he

Blackest Hippy

bro can't be part of EVERYTHING til you catch up on the manga

The Otter Man

I found your channel on youtube one day after you posted your first ever one piece video and have been watching you weekly since then. I am so thankful that I've gotten to join you on your journey for the last few YEARS and can't wait for the theory crafting now that you're caught up!!

Artemis

Jack needed more time to reflect on the absolute mind-boggling revelation at the end. lol. But yeah, it’s been foreshadowed and planned for the majority of the story that there lies a goal beyond even the pirate king. Oda has cleverly concealed this fact with his readers many times through off screen SFX and ambiguous moments, but it’s been there all this time. When this was first published in the manga, it truly took the community by storm. It is labeled one of the most legendary moments of OP in terms of “end game” mystery. The perfect capstone cliffhanger to the entire emperor saga, moving into the final phase of the story.

Veritas

That's hilarious! You just reminded me that I had the exact same theory and named my channel and tag "Free D. World" in honor of that, but I let myself forget for a bit.

Renato Hiro

Bro, the ending is cinema too :(

kejihxv

kinda sad you didnt react to the ending, its so pretty and it was the first ending since 300s ep

kejihxv

cant believe you actually finished with wano, jack, you have been part of my rutine and schedule 3 times a week for the last 2,5 year. it feels like a break up lmao

lucy

come on Jack ain't now way you're this slow, Rocky Port have been mentioned alot since timeskip although never truely explain in the main story, only in sbs. other than that, one of the seraphim, look like Mihawk while the other look like Boa, what does that tell you? stop questioning the earring you'll learn more later on. Dragon not knowing what happened to Sabo is nothing weird its not part of the plan and they're seperated and you should not take that ending lightly.

Daemedeor

It really makes sense when you think about it. Gol d Roger’s dream could not have been becoming the king of the pirates. It was told to us that the title had a nice ring but was already satisfied before that. He did not set out to be king of the pirates but ended up that way. So it had to be different. Then the fact that ace and yamao talking and mentioned that luffy had the same dream as this great man suggests that luffys dream is what gol roger wanted. And this was luffy as a kid. It’s kinda died down for now but people were guessing like mad and we got to see all of the straw hats reaction. So it’s clearly something each of them feel different too.

Ryuji

Watch the ending too

KappaPrideUwU

Please react to the ending as well! It's genuinely a banger!

The Fphat Gamer

crazy to think iv watched you watch every episode so far i found you with dragonball abridged man this is amazing

Karatsuki

Yeah Oda was totally fed up with people misunderstanding Luffy's dream Luffy's dream is not becoming king of the pirates because everytime he says it he says; I WILL become King of the Pirates that is already set in stone in his mind This is his DREAM that he WISHES for He hinted at it with the whole Roger thing because how can Roger wish to become the pirate king if the title only exists after he dies

Caleb Simmons

i been here since ishinobi naruto reactions and one piece is my favorite anime of all time
