To answer your question about Bonney, Oda is absolutely a creep because she is drawn the same in the manga, but in my eyes Toei are worse because they went extra on the fan service with her despite having the foresight of her real age from the source material. They also added a bunch of little interactions with Sanji that show him being seemingly pervy towards her as he would any other woman, despite him practically having a sixth sense for her being a minor in the manga as he's generally more protective / chivalrous toward her there.

Nah, it is literally one chapter adapted to one episode and yes there is put a little more animation into the fight but not to an extend that you can say that the anime glazed Kizaru

Sure just extend unnecessary stuff. Kizaru was on his two left feet that whole fight this is not that, it was near instant and was less than 6 pages and not once was Luffy on the defense or running but go on believe whatever.

I think the way they did the fight between luffy v kizaru was absolutely perfect especially when you think about the fact that he's literally made out of light so a fight where he's going all out would be extremely fast paced and hard to follow. Such insane choreography and animation. This episode justified the 6 month break for me.

Well, to me at the time i read the manga, no one's winning is the whole point of the fight. The mission is to escape the island, so Luffy's job is to stall Kizaru, the strongest enemy there. Luffy's purpose is to make Kizaru focus on him and let his friends escape. That's why he's just laughing and letting Kizaru run after him around the island, but Kiz is also smart; His mission is assassination and he knows Luffy tried to stall him, that's why he tried to trick Luffy too. But he's also annoyed at Luffy getting in his way too much lol. Like a troublesome child. This fight will be different if they are focused on destroying each other in 1v1 like Luffy vs Kaido or Luffy vs Katakuri. Also, to answer your question, if you have already caught up with the current episode.. You did not misinterpret Vegapunk's sentence. Bonney is a child.

@erueka6 SPOILERS: That's just not true, during the entirety of their fight, neither of them broke a sweat, until Luffy landed the final blow on Kizaru at which point he returned back to normal because he had been pushed far passed his limits. I understand you're a Luffy glazer, but you don't even need to be an Admiral glazer (like I'm neither) to see facts. Saying Kizaru was on his two left feet when he was just trying to do his mission (which was NOT fighting Luffy), and Luffy always ended up being an obstacle. Luffy's whole focus on the other hand was defeating Kizaru, which is why he ultimately won.

I'm only talking about what happened in this episode and no I'm not hyping Luffy because this also makes Kizaru look more incompetent he was way faster and smart looking in the very short panel spans and he's my favorite admiral personality wise I wanted him to do better I'm just sick of the anime changing things its already pretty bad with wasting time, changing the specifics of very short time frames is just making things even worse I had to completly quit the anime for 7 years because of dressrosa I give the anime very little patience or leeway for dumb sht.

Glad you finally caught up to us, now you suffer the "to be continues" like we do, now you suffer the 2 week breaks between intense reveals like we do, now you cry weekly like we do, now you are truly one of us and we would not want it any other way. ive been watching your one piece grind since the start of sabaody, which also was when i discovered your channel, back then i was already caught up but seeing you react to all these episodes, seeing you cry, seeing you cheer, seeing you assault poor shinobu for being a traitor for 60episodes. Im glad i am on this Journey with you jack, im glad you became a one piece fan. And you can be fking proud about the fact that you are now caught up, it was a mountain to climb but by now you surely think the same as we all do, one piece does not have "to many" episodes, one piece "cant have enough episodes" Cheers, a fan

Bonny probably likes all the attention to be honest, what adolescent girl doesn't like to feel like an adult. People understand that there is a different perspective here conveyed in the manga. Such as the so called fanservice illustrated in the early egghead when they were washed up on the beach of the island and ringing out their clothes. It was just her changing her shirt and struggling with it because of her big breasts because obviously she is 12. Readers look at this scene as oda just being a perv and showing a child (in an adult body) in different states of undress, but that isn't really the intension. There is also a fine line between sexual advances on a child, but Sanji has no idea she is a kid, if he knew that he obviously wouldn’t treat her that way. This is deffinitly not a master roshi situation. In fact, I will venture to guess that oda may make a joke out of it later when Sanji discovers her real age. Anyways diff cultural sensibilities from America to Japan i guess.

Oda himself stated that Bonney's devil fruit doesn't make her ageless. Eventually, once she gets elderly, her ability to make herself young will stop working. She's not like Sugar whose devil fruit grants her eternal youth or Law's devil fruit, which can grant eternal life, at the cost of Law killing himself to grant someone else immortality.
