There are aspects of the anime that are great but the manga presentation and art are definitely worth checking, also there is alot to say in every episode that is either not apparent, hindsight, or answered by the author. Glad i can have an excuse to revisit and youre enjoying it.

I'm glad you liked the Soul Society arc so much Jack, it's legendary. I know what you mean by, "First Arc" like it's not he first arc but it's the first, "big" arc and since it was primarily about Rukia and how she gave powers to Ichigo and that happened in episode 1 it feels like the first, "overarching story" has ended. So it makes sense you would call it the first arc if you don't know the arc hard cutoffs from the wiki or something. Also you're right those new guys in Urahara's shop are filler, they added 3 new doll characters to sell merch since no one wanted to buy Kon, they can also turn into human-looking gigais which is why 2 of them weren't dolls in episode 110.

Honestly since it always showed him training with his grandpa, I assumed he lived with him. Didn't necessarily mean he was dead, but I half assumed he was too 🤷‍♀️

Souken talked about ryuken working at the hospital with uryu because of his rejection of the living dealing with the dead that seems pretty alive to me.

Ep 111. You're right that the 3 modsoul filler guys were not in the manga, and that whole like in-between scene where they caught Kon and then Grand Fisher started chasing Kon again was filler. In the manga Grand Fisher is chasing Kon and Isshin shows up like he did here. All the scenes with Uryu and his dad as well as with Ichigo and Shinji Kurosaki are canon too. After like a dozen episodes they give up on the filler character mixing and just go back to following the manga so you don't have to put up with it for long. Also if you look at the Volume 1 cover of Bleach Shinji Hirako is actually on it. He was originally planned to be a main character like the rest of Ichigo's gang in the first arc, but ended up here as a different character.

Kinda hit the nail on the head when it comes to the parallels between arrancar and visored. One is hollow becoming stronger through the use of soul reaper powers, the other is the reverse.
