Hey Jack, I'll have you know Head Captain Yamamoto is a Great Judge of Character, he had 3 Captains Planning the Downfall of the Soul Society for Centuries under his Watch

Watch out for fillers this is when it gets really bad

Ichigo didn't just return the bandages, if you look behind the note he wrote Thank You in japanese across every part of the bandages, he was thanking Shinji for rescuing Rukia from Grimmjow. Also to answer your question about Urahara's business, he owns a candy store where he also sells strange objects like Soul Candy and Rukia's Gigai whilst employing children, I don't know how the Better Business Bureau is okay with this.

I just realized if you go to the last 2 seconds of episode 143 after the next episode preview there's a silent frame of Luppi pointing at the screen with, "I WON'T APPEAR FROM THE NEXT EPISODE ONWARD!" like wth you don't got to rub it in Studio Pierrot

Yamamoto's thinking makes more sense if you look at it from the point of "You either fight or you die fighting, there's no negotiation" so he might look at it as treachery for the simple fact that Orihime didn't go down fighting Espada. Not saying I agree with him, just that's why he might have jumped straight to it. Also, you saying that Bleach is ramping up at the end, lol... Get ready for the slowest part of Bleach, even when considering canon only.
