Dan of Steel is the most entertaining enemy stand user so far. Him going from having the biggest ego to groveling at Jotaro's feet always cracks me up.

To be fair, Steely Dan (his actual name) at least had the balls to confront all 4 of them at once and then got to use Jotaro Kujo as a bridge. Devo the Cursed (the doll guy) attacked polnareff 1 on 1 and got a sneak attack on him and tied him to the bottom of a bed covered in gasoline, and still lost before anyone even knew Polnareff was being attacked. Plus he grovels long enough for us to hear the entire Jotaro theme which is badass.

I think why part 3 is structured as such a like, Monster (Stand) of the Week story format is like, this is Araki literally building and fleshing out this power system, just pumping out a ton of ideas to refine and work out how exactly everything works and comes together

Harmon was pretty logical here I feel, since the tentacle thing was out of Dios cells - which dissolves in Sunlight (which is basically the base for harmon). If he did that before getting the love out of there he would have probably cause Joseph much more pain with his stand.
