Stands take the exact same damage as the user, so you can't actually kill a stand without killing its user, for example when Hierophant broke Grey Fly's tongue and it split the user's tongue in half, or when Polnareff cut up all of Soul Sacrifice's stand except for its nuts in the hotel and they found the user the same way.

"Manishu Boy" is the localized name of "Boys 2 Men" which is an american Vocal group from Philadelphia. Coming up a lot of the names of Stand Users and later on even stand names themselves are going to be named after Bands Hirohiko Araki (the mangaka of jojos) likes and listened to a lot.

Did bro geninuely have a brainfart moment near the end, they been showing whatever damage a stand takes is reflected on its user, and they already showed whatever damage you take in the dream world you take in real life in these very episodes like when the dog was shown dead

No he didn´t but I can see your confusion as this can be understand in two ways: 1. You can not kill a stand unless you kill the user 2. You can not kill a stand but keeping the user alive He meant the 2nd as in all the damage the stands takes is also damage that the user takes so if the stand takes leathal damage so does the user - this can´t be avoided even if you wanted to harm the stand but not the user. What you think what he said is probably something around that you would have to kill the user in order to kill the stand (which is technically true as the stand exists as long as the user is alive) but that wouldn´t nessecarily mean that you cannot harm the user by harming their stand - this is false.
