To answer your question. Yes there are video essays breaking down the Harley. Some of them about an hour. But the manga panel (on 1138) is a lot cleaner to read from. I would suggest oharas breakdown since he has why things were translated the way they were.

This is something that Oda clears up on an SBS: Shamrock is the one talking to the Elders on Mariejois. It sounds like Shanks because Toei did not bother to change the voice actor and by the time Oda noticed it was too late

So back when Shanks met whitebeard, whitebeard mention that whenever he sees shanks's face his scars begin to burn because they were the scars he got from "him". Basically Shamrock has been hinted at since post Enies lobby though some think that it was actually Garling.

Oda is a Troll . Do you really think he wanted that TOEI spoils even the manga readers so long before its actually revealed that Shanks has a Twin Brother ? I highly doubt that. But the answer is just classic Oda . Pretty much exactly what i thought he would say when someone asked him that question ... : P

the anime has done it before. hitetsu ( the guy in the red mask who looks after tama and luffy takes his sword) had the same VA as oden's father, which technically spoiled the reveal before the manga did and some people theorised that they were the same person based off that

Jack there is a break next week for the one pieces heroines shows first episode, after that starting july 12th we get the remaining 13 episodes of cour 1 every week. Which means sometime in October cour 1 will end and we will have to wait until April for the next batch of episodes. I lowkey think you should wait before reading the manga because the content that will be animated in 2027 is insanely good

I'm glad you went back through to look at the Harley, everyone has been freaking out about this ever since it dropped in the manga. I didn't even think about the boat on the far left being the Arc Maxim that would be fucking hype. There's so many little things in there, the new morning it mentions reminds me of Cobra's words to Sabo... Hype episode you should do a poll for if you react to manga or not but even if manga is voted you should do both anime and manga.

Sure, i know all about that but , he wore a Mask/had Wings and nothing about how he looked said that he is Odens Father . Shanks is a Character who is and always was waaay more important than Kouzuki Sukiyaki. And when Shamrock was in Marijoise it looked exactly like Shanks and pretty much everybody thought it was him because there where basically no clues that he has a twin Brother at that point in the Story. It would have been way more obvious if this was the only time they used another voice actor for him many years before it was revealed who it actually was ( TOEI also used the same voice Actors for less important Characters many times before) . And knowing many other things Oda said/answered in the SBS questions i think that TOEI probably didn't even knew about the Shamrock thing back then . Of course i could be completely wrong. But i personally think it's better that they didn't use another voice Actor at that time. Makes no difference now tho, it is what it is ... : P

if you were ever interested in rewatching skypiea, now would be a good time I think. the Harley Text provides a lot of context on what didnt make sense the first time watching it.

This isnt a spoiler but oda said in a manga sbs (I dont think it will ever be confirmed or explained) that he intended for shamrock to be the one talking to the elders and it is shamrock but the animation people for one piece didnt know so they used shanks' voice actor, thats the sum of it pretty much. but love the vids ill be here from now on with youtube being so poopy lol.
