The idea is since the bullets were shot 1 at a time number 5 could also catch one at a time, i know it doesn't mention that but the ice would literally do nothing at that range the bullets would go through a bible even with a shitty gun.

Okay these subtitles are fucking pissing me off now. Adding a little italian here and there was fine. But now it's adding it like every other line like he says determination in the manga just say determination when a lot is happening it's more important for the viewer to be able to read quickly. But then when he does the famous Jojo part 5, "Arrivederci" moment instead of putting the italian like they've been doing EVERY EPISODE he translated it to GOODBYE??????? I get the japanese text on the screen says, "Goodbye" but that's because he says Arrividerci out loud and if you're watching without subs that tells the japanese watcher what it means, if you're watching with english subs that are supposed to tell us what he's saying and he LITERALLY says, "Arrivederci" write fucking arrivederci on the screen and if you really have to put a note after it that says, "(Goodbye)". The subber is rewriting every line to be more italian but then rewrites the literal italian TO BE ENGLISH!?? WHY?! And there's supposed to be this re-occurring theme where they say like, "Don't say you're going to kill someone until you already have, when we want to kill someone it's already done" They say it the same way in Japanese all 4 times it's mentioned. But everytime the subber writes it a completely different way to the point where this is lost. "You'll suffer for this" "I'm going to get those guys" "I can't wait to get my hands on them" JUST SAY "you're dead!" or "i will kill you" like he's actually saying so when he threatens buccelati at the end we're like "oh he just did the thing his brother told him not to do he lost his resolve". Speaking of his brother his last words are supposed to be something like. "Pesci... I've got your back..." instead the subber writes "I will always watch over you" which is fucking stupid because he dies 3 seconds after that you're going to watch over him for 3 seconds>??? I don't think he would always watch over Pesci even though he does care about him he just wouldn't do that that doesn't make sense for his character. And like the subtitles randomly speed up and slow down like he doesn't give you enough time to read some of the lines it's just pissing me off.

i'm gonna make a fansub for part 5 where after Bruno goes, "ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI" and after Pesci fucking dies Bruno says, "See Ya Later Alligator"
