Mitsuki deserves more action scenes. I wanna see sage mode again

Anonymous

Jigen Is stronger than momoshiki. Naruto and sasuke didn’t get nerfed In boruto they just lost jutsu (obviously before sasuke and Naruto lost the Rinnegan and kurama).

Anonymous

Not really an unpopular opinion, but in that first scene of the series Kawaki is definitely a good guy. Seeing him now and how much he admires Naruto, it’s hard to see anything happening where he would ever fight Naruto or turn against him. The one suspicion I have is the presence of Amado since we know basically nothing about him or his motivations yet

memoje

Boruto would clap most of the original Konoha 12

david robertson

Konohamaru is complete fodder and boruto surpassed him a long time ago.

Anonymous

People who complain about Boruto’s fillers 100% skipped every episode listed as filler for Naruto. Boruto’s fillers provide more substance than all of Naruto’s combined. (Except the Itachi and Kaguya backstories) They’re literally there so Boruto can have missions as a “ninja” instead of fighting ONLY cyborgs and alien gods, as well as build up the characters. People care about stuff “not being in the manga” despite NEVER reading one.

Anonymous
>>74249848

And yes, they’re objectively fillers. The word filler does not mean it cannot be canon, because I know someone’s gonna try and tell me this.

Anonymous

People who think Momoshiki can stop time and can predict the future are simply spreading misinformation, and the “you lack the ability to pass on that power” line literally refers to Kurama’s power not being able to be passed down through generations. If Momoshiki could stop time, why didn’t he USE IT IN A FIGHT??

Despite many people saying based on what we know and the start of episode 1 I still don't think that Boruto is the bad guy. To me it makes no sense considering how in episode 1 he mentions how he can't believe Kawaki went that far which in most cases it alludes to Kawaki starting or doing something bad, then Kawaki's line about sending Boruto to where he sent Naruto and Boruto responding by tying what we believe is Sasuke's headband around his head and declaring he's still a shinobi. To me it would make no sense for him to do these last two things is he'd gone rogue considering his admiration and respect for Sasuke are on par with what Kawaki has for Naruto now so I doubte he would pay honor to Sasuke by using his headband if he was on the bad side of things. We still don't know much and without getting into manga spoilers there are several things that could happen still that could make Kawaki turn against the leaf either willingly or unwillingly while I just don't see Boruto turning against the leaf after all that he's been through and the friends and family he has there. Anyhow that's my take and I know it was a long one so I'm sorry

gabriel popp

As far as the Boruto and Kawaki fight at the beginning, I think Kawaki is still bad. He wants to protect Naruto and idolizes him. I think he'll get a twisted view on what he needs to do to protect him. Hints why he says he will send Boruto there too. Borutos line, "I am still a shinobi" makes me believe Boruto is good.

Yehan Subasinghe

i think that they will probably rebuff Naruto and Sasuke before the timeskip. After defeating Code, they might give Sasuke a Hashirama arm and then he will slowly manifest 2 rinnegan and then using those they will find the 10 tails and seal it inside Naruto. the reason i think they’ll do this is because in order for the timeskip to be good the villains have to be stronger and the main cast has got to be stronger too in order to keep up, not just boruto and kawaki.

Yehan Subasinghe

Another theory I have is that Amado is somehow related to Kawaki. one i saw online that looked cool was that Amado is actually a time traveling scientist(we know this is possible using otsutsuki technology). he lived through a world where Isshiki otsutsuki won and everyone else perished so he went back in time with this plan in mind in order to fully stop him. we don’t know how many times he had to go back in time for it to actually work so maybe the baryon mode ending was the first good ending.

Yehan Subasinghe
>>74251023

and how this relates to kawaki is that maybe amado IS kawaki from the future which is why he pretends to not care about him but truly does care for his well being because if kawaki died then he might die too

The “time stop” definitely isn’t actually stopping time, or that would be broken, but Momoshiki was able to place a Karma on Boruto in this time. So I’m very curious about how that ability works. And I think Momoshiki, and Toneri for that matter, can see bits and pieces of fate, just nowhere near the full thing. In the Nue arc, Toneri pretty much gave Boruto his own prophecy, so I’m almost certain he can see fate in some way.

justcamtro

In my opinion, Pre-Timeskip Boruto outranked Naruto and Sasuke by Naruto and Shippuden.

Konohamaru is underrated, and is still a better shinobi than any of his students. In his fight with Jugo, he only got hit once, completely outclassing him up until he got grabbed. And his Rasengan is easily the strongest base Rasengan we’ve ever seen, wrecking Jugo and clearing a wide path through the forest. Not to mention his Wind Style version. While Team 7 was getting tossed around by Deepa, Konohamaru and injured Mugino were actually holding up against Victor. The writers of the anime constantly put him in bad positions because there aren’t any other notable Jonin aside from the older generation, who have mostly moved to other roles in the village, and Mirai. If there was another mainstay jonin, Konohamaru wouldn’t be forced to fight every Kara member in order to show their threat level. This also isn’t including his non-combat skills as a shinobi, including stealth and infiltration, that Team 7 doesn’t really have. While Team 7 mainly have either simple or combat missions, Konohamaru does both those and high-importance missions from Naruto directly. So while they’re probably fairly close in combat abilities (with Boruto and Mitsuki probably surpassing him with power ups) Konohamaru is still quite a bit ahead of them as overall shinobi.

I really hope that kashin koji comes back. This is a crazy theory but what if when ishiki destroyed his mask he got hes feelings and memorys back. Becuese kashin koji knew that he was a tool and served his porpouse, so why bother escaping.

I love my boy Boruto so much, but I can't ignore the fact that he's the first one to say that the age of shinobi is over in episode 1. I know he would never do anything that could harm his loved ones or the village, especially after seeing him almost ending his life twice in chapter 216, and both times he did it for others' sake, BUT THAT LITTLE DETAIL MAKES HIM SUSPICIOUS. Even reading the manga, all I could get was that I don't know who the villain is, that all we're watching are MEMORIES, and that I CAN'T COMPLETELY TRUST HIM (although Kawaki is still the most sus)

Yashu
>>74249728

With the lanes they are saying it looks like Boruto is the good one tho. Kawaki says ''Age of shinobi is over'' and Boruto says ''I'm still a shinobi''. For some reason people are forgeting about those quotes

Yashu
>>74250938

Oh boi i didnt even thought of that. Naruto with 10tails? Lets go!

Kelsey

The idea that people think Naruto was going to kill Boruto in episode 220 is one of the dumbest takes in the whole show. It makes no sense with Narutos character or with the conversation they had just had before it. He was very clearly putting on a front for Gaara and Sasuke and being very real with Boruto. He has a history with panic attacks when faced with a reality of people he cares about being killed.

Matt

The manga and anime completely botched Konohamaru. There was so much potential for a 3rd Hokage/Asuma/Naruto hybrid ninja, but he has been reduced to a fodder character (especially in the anime).

Anonymous

Momoshiki and Boruto will have a relationship just like Naruto and Kurama

CrimsonSage

Kawaki will not end up being the bad guy

Anonymous

Boruto (manga and anime canon) > part 1 naruto (manga and anime canon)

Frankie Orona

Sarada will get her Mangekyo when either Mitsuki or Sasuke dies

Dragonstorm35

Naruto has peak moments more often but when boruto is at its peak it’s better

turnipkun

I think one of Boruto's weaknesses as a series so far is the villains. Most of them are merely a device for character development for the main cast, but never have their own character arc or have an interesting ideology that really challenges the main cast. For example, I liked Deepa and thought he had a lot of potential. Ultimately though, he was merely a device for Team 7 to get stronger and we never really got to know who he really was. As sick as the fight was, that's why his defeat felt abrupt to me. Here's to hoping this changes in the future though (with Amado or Kawaki perhaps?)

Maximus

Rock lee needs to open the eighth gate just because I want to cry again and it seems like a well deserved death for him if it happened unlike guy which i agree with ur take on it , and also that would deeply change metal imo for the future.

Mr. Nobody

I talk about it before and I will say it again. If you compare boruto to anime industry than boruto is ok show. It's gets really good sometimes like momoshiki arc and kawaki arc. Other time it's just ok. It's just a cashgrab scheme. Most of the boruto fans just watched boruto becoz they wanna see Naruto. At first the animation was good but than they downgraded(Naruto vs delta fight). They will improve their animation just bcoz a good fight is coming up. The main heart of Naruto and Naruto shippuden was their sound tracks. Like sadness and sorrow etc. I like boruto outro but they never live up to even Naruto 2002 bgm. Boruto is not written by kishimoto. He never wanted to continue the story. He thought that he gave a good ending. But his long time assistant who supported him in his Naruto shippuden came with the idea of boruto. And he is the one who is writing manga. Kishimoto is only in supporting department. We respected your decision to continue boruto bcoz Naruto world is your channel's core. And thank God you finished it. I am still sad that you chose one piece which I don't get the hype. You could have easily chosen the haikyuu which is god level anime and doesn't have over 1000 episodes. I am telling it again. Every haikyuu fan regretted their decision to not start haikyuu sooner. They thought that it's just sports anime that I don't even know. You can't be more wrong. It's anime that you will definitely add in your fav list even if that is sports. I just hate that you chose one piece. You could have taken any small anime(haikyu!!) With HxH. Just bcoz you like pirete doesn't mean you will like one piece. I didn't like it that much(personal opinion, don't take seriously). Now you will be stuck on it for what 1.5 to 2 years or maybe more. I just can't understand your decision. Well whatever you do we will follow you. Peace Dattawayo❤️

I think naruto and sasuke might have a chance of defeating code as long as he doesn’t take is limiters off.

Bro! Kishimoto wrote the momoshiki arc (it was adapted from the movie)and he made kawaki. Why would he do that if he didn't want to complete the story ?

Ronak Chakraborty
>>74256718

i don’t think naruto was ever gonna go through with it, but that’s pretty clearly what’s on his mind. to me, i think he was just questioning if he would even have the willpower to do it.

Zee
>>74249839

This isn’t a hot take, this is just dumb

Zee
>>74257548

Bro. Y’all overrate that damn clan and had expectations for someone who didn’t do shit in Naruto

Zee

Konohamaru hate seems like the fandom forcing themselves to make a “hey, let’s laugh at this character” moment like they’ve done to Sakura. Konohamaru’s journey as a top jonin happened in relative peace times but people who say he’s fodder either never watched the show or just forcing a unfunny meme. He takes out Nue before he can be summoned, takes out a Zetsu that was gonna be used to fight Otususki, he beats Jugo who was on pair with the Third Raikage & held his own with some Kara members. I don’t get how he’s called fodder after THREE separated L’s. People keep comparing him to Kakashi when he got surpassed by OG TEAM 7 within the first 100 Shippuden episodes and was getting whooped by Itachi, Pain, Madara, Kakuzu and got punked by Orochimaru during the Chunin Exams. Plus it’s clear in the show that he’s regarded highly by Naruto, Sasuke & Shikamaru. People need to stop the forced slander.

Zee
>>74270939

That’s literally every Naruto villain starting with Zabuza.

Maahira

Sumire is too much of a repeat of hinata. I do like her a lot and she does have her own unique story but in terms of her relationship with boruto, I feel like it's kinda forced. I think they're trying to replicate hinata and naruto's dynamic a little too much through them. In the manga, I believe sumire hinted at her liking him from the start but in the anime, we had no hints or anything until recently. Before this, I thought sarada had so much more chemistry with him but now idek💀

GB3

Ship predictions Boruto and sumire. Gonna be like OG Naruto where the obvious pairing was gonna be Naruto and Sakura, but here the obvious pairing is boruto and sarada. Sarada and kawaki. Just remember, sarada is Sakura’s daughter and I’m sure that tendency to want to tame a bad boy is there too. I don’t know if she can tame destroying the leaf village levels of bad boy but challenge accepted. Mitsuki and chocho - They’ve played around with this idea earlier with their interactions. Mitsuki seems to randomly bring her up at times and Mitsuki of all people probably is the least concerned with her size and social norms Wasabi and iwabe - the most obvious one, no need to go into detail here. Shikadai and the sand chick with the headphones - because history repeats itself Denki and tsubaki- chunin exams love but that’s all I have to go on Metal Lee is going to reproduce asexually using the power of youth, just like his father Houki - solo dolo sigma male status. Lord sixth didn’t have the time for these chicks and either does houki

David Zimmerman
>>74260575

i think that they might kill Sakura instead of Sasuke to unlock Sarada's Mangekyou Sharingan

David Zimmerman

Is anyone else feeling kind of suspect of Gaara lately? I know being a Kage means having to make tough calls and stuff, but he seems to becoming less and less compassionate. He was very adamant about putting Boruto down because of the threat his Karma could pose to the world in the future and now he sends his son a high level Chunin to covertly observe and seemingly test Kawaki's strength? For what purpose? Is he after his scientific ninja tool laden body? Just saying I feel like the little confrontation between Naruto and Gaara over Boruto's Karma isn't something to ignore for the future. What if Gaara forsakes himself?!

Kelsey
>>74313685

Tbh Gaara was pretty harsh when it came to telling Naruto that he'd have to kill Sasuke in Shippuuden too. I agree that he wasn't very compassionate in this Boruto situation. As a former jinchuuriki and a father himself I expected him to have more understanding for the difficult situation Naruto is in.

Michael Vasilopoulos

If Amado was able to get away from those guys that kidnapped him at any time, then the point of getting kidnapped was so he would be followed by leaf shinobi, so that when he said those things to resist the kidnappers, it would make the leaf trust him more and boruto specifically

Nyan Krunex
>>74288423

It was all there from the beginning too, not just recently! The first arc, there were hints for them however subtle.

Anonymous

Gaara has been getting on my nerves ever since Shippuden. Asking Naruto if he’s ready to kill Sasuke, now if he’s ready to kill Boruto, like it’s easy to just talk when you haven’t done anything for so long. And sending Shinki to check on Kawaki just says that he doesn’t trust Naruto any more. Plus he kept telling Naruto how he doesn’t have Kurama any more and belittling him in front of other Kage. I hope he knows that Naruto without Kurama is still out of his league

Anonymous

The anime canon is good. I love the Narutoverse and even the so called slice of life episodes make me so happy, because we get to see what Naruto (and everyone else in Naruto/Shippuden) and his sacrifices wrought in the end. Plus, it creates much more impact for when we get to Boruto vs Kawaki in the future. Also, Shino is not out of character, hahaha.

Anonymous
>>74326073

Yep. Big Brain Amado dictates he knew it was a test the whole time. Sucks though, cause that means Shikamaru's intention (if it was in fact him who set that up) failed, since he caught on.

die kokosnuss

I think the beginning of Boruto was perfect because it just makes sense that the world would be peacefull after the 4th war. I alkso think that it makes the more serious and dangerous arcs better since the peacefull generation have to fight somethng theire not familiar with wich makes their goal to keep the peace that much more suspensfull

Anonymous

A lot of people wanted baryon mode to be orange but I think that the red looks way better.

Lewis Loughran

They tease us at the beginning with lots of cool stuff like mitsuki sage mode and boruto's jougan but then they keep us waiting. I'm dying to see more of them

Mihajlo Nestorovic

I had to... Sorry after 62 other comments. :) In battle of two Otsutsuki is real winner the one who losses, since if he places Karma on other one, and the other one is already 100% Otsutsuki the loser immediately overtakes winner so he is the surviving one unless they have preventition mechanism (like those Amado pills)... Also do you think Amado's daughter he mentioned died 12 years ago (I think) is somone we know (my guesses Delta or Kaguya)?
