Monaka is being used as a way to motivate Goku and Vegeta. The idea is that they would train extra hard if they thought that someone was better than them

Santzu

Beerus bringed Monaka because it'll motivate him and proof that there are way stronger people out there that Goku doesn't know about

Shadowpunch13

Monaka is kind of a throwback to early Dragon Ball where Roshi wanted to ensure Goku loses in his first martial arts tournament so that he doesn't start to slack in his training. Kinda sets the foundations for Goku's "always gotta keep training cuz there's always someone stronger."

Rinfantasy

come one! the name Hit came from Hitman LOL

Fortune Lekoto

I love Hit, he is one of my favourite characters, well at least the anime version of Hit is my favourite

Fortune Lekoto

Hey Jack, where do you get information on what episodes to skip when watching anime, is it from Reddit or elsewhere

Fortune Lekoto

why Jack, why are we getting only one episode of DBS this week😢😢 I hope next week you upload 4 or 3 episodes

Fortune Lekoto

Fun fact, Hit's english voice actor, Mathew Mercer, also voices Levi Ackerman from AOT

Yassine Biggie

Never forget Goku is a fighting genius. He might be dense about general stuff but when it comes to martial arts and fighting in general he is a master.

Smiling Saiyan

Glad you’re enjoying it mate! :) Goku Vs Hit is lots of fun

Nate Terry

You should watch OG dragonball lol.

DevTheRay

I hope you skip the upcoming filler so you can get to the good stuff!

1st every episode is "filler" as almost nothing was written by toryiama, second the more fillery episodes of super are all great "except pink vegeta"

Fortune Lekoto

Don't forget that Guldo from the Ginyu Force could also manipulate time, his ability was to freeze time, by holding his breath

Fortune Lekoto

"Vegeta just blew his load all over Hit instead of figuring things out"- Jack 2023 and Jack, brother, AYO bro

1st of not every episode is filler bro, very few are, in fact in the case of DBS anime, it came before the manga, but Toriyama did write the story for DBS overall

In ancient Paleo Hebrew the language used numbers as letters. The 7th letter was known as the zaiyan which is why the anime is centered around 7 dragon balls and the sayians because they are pronounced the same. It also means to penetrate or to use a sword or to make "lucky" as is designated by a middle finger. That's why you see dragons ball z characters on merchandise flipping people the bird because it's a reference to the f word.
