You caught that naming convention, like, Instantly. Took me like 300 episodes lmao. "WTF, Is that a man plane?" Your reaction to him me crackin up bro xD

Maria

What's interesting in this episode is to see Doflamingo's crew dynamic being kinda similar to the Strawhat's. Monet is ready to give her life, if it gets Doflamingo closer to becoming pirate king. Just like Zoro was in Thriller Bark vs. Kuma

Vinny Deluca

"Not even end credits" homie there hasnt been any end credits in 500+ episodes lol

CeoOfSects

man the anime is so dumb sometimes , like what is that ending , knowing the reality

Colyn

JACK!!!! Franky left the cage to check on the Sunny 😂

Vinny Deluca

That makes no difference to what I said lol, besides the preview there hasn’t been any end credits or end credit scenes since like alabasta maybe earlier lol

erueka6

It's like he needs a damn stenographer to keep notes of the conversations the characters have.

DiamonDust

It's similar in some ways, but the complete opposite in others. Doflamingo's crew is loyal to Doflamingo in a similar way to the Straw Hats being loyal to their captain and to each other. On the other hand, a huge difference is that Doflamingo is not loyal to his crew whatsoever though, which is the opposite of the Straw Hats. Luffy would never order one of his crew members to kill themselves, especially not just to take out an enemy that was already retreating. Not to mention, they had innocent children experiments in tow. Doflamingo acts caring towards them and may actually care about someone like Monet and Vergo, but it's a fake love. He cares about them only because they are loyal and convenient to his goals. Doflamingo would slaughter his crew immediately if they disobeyed him with no remorse or hesitation. He is an emotional manipulator, and one of the most evil scumbags in One Piece. He is a fantastic villain though of course, he's my favorite villain in the show because he has a lot of complexity and charisma to him.

DiamonDust

It makes sense in the next episode. You said it yourself, it was not reality. It was imagery of Monet's imagination of what she was about to do to give suspense and shock to the viewers. I liked it, it was creative and unique.

DiamonDust

@erueka6 It's not surprising he forgot, Jack might be in the majority in that respect for first time viewers. There is only a single sentence where Franky says he is leaving to go take care of the ship and then it is never mentioned again until we next see him. There is no reminder or any additional dialogue related to him leaving that pops up later.

DiamonDust

Vincent S Deluca I think he obviously meant the preview bro, he just mispoke

DiamonDust

Jack's reaction to watching the entire Island explode and likely killing everyone there was not what I expected lol, no concern at all. Either he is used to OP's fake outs by now or he didn't realize that the explosion would have actually killed everyone there if that was not just Monet's imagination. Even though Straw Hats would clearly never all collectively die this way thanks to their "plot armor", it's still true that they all almost died. They simply got really lucky.

The end of episode 619 is one of the greatest. The framing of it all is beautiful and the timings are all incredible. Can't wait for you to finish up Punk Hazard, some amazing moments are still coming!

Remi

jack if you want baby 5 just say you need her and shes all yours

Remi

kinda of a spoiler no?

Maria

Wait, which comment? Mine?

DiamonDust

@Remi If you meant mine was a spoiler, I just changed it slightly to make it less indicative of future events because there was a certain word I should not have used. I think it's fine now.

erueka6

I think I half assed read the manga for this part nearly what 9-10 years ago and completely forgot it and don't really pay that much attention to dialogue watching these reactions and still remember after a week and a half of work and other stuff in passing that Franky said he went to the Sunny.

DiamonDust

@erueka6 I think I remembered it too, but that is not my point. Just saying I would never blame someone for missing something like that for the reasons I outlined. Plus, Jack is usually pretty observant of details. He completely blanked on that scene for whatever reason, so maybe he was distracted thinking about the more important moments right before it if I had to hazard a guess. .
