Mate please follow, only conqueror's haki can knock out people like this, armament haki only strengthens attacks, while observation haki allows the user to predict attacks to dodge or block them. If the character can knock out people with haki, that's conqueror's. Those are the three haki types. Observation and Armament can be honed and trained by anyone, but Conqueror's is only accessible to a few given people

Now I understand why Jack wasn't excited/surprised at all when Doflamingo first used Conqueror's Haki :D But yea thanks for explaining it to him. It's important he understands the differences and that only select few have the ability to knock people out with CH. Now that I think maybe his confusion is a remnant of the time Shanks walked into Whitebeard's ship and casually started knocking people out and WB's crew said "it is because of Shank's incredibly strong Haki" but nothing more about it. I actually think that might have been the first or one of the first time that Haki was ever mentioned in the show but what Shanks did wasn't referred to as a Conqueror's Haki and it didn't show that shockwave kinda effect you most often see when it is used. They probably still wanted to keep that power a secret back then but I get how it might have caused major confusion.

law is giving them time to escape

We're on dressrosa and my dude still doesn't understand haki

ideo

ideo has such a cool and unique design and has such a good mentality that I made him my name on the internet for a decade now, i love him so much glad u liked him too !

yamina

We have another great example of subtle "show don't tell" in these episodes, when Bartolomeo was trying to steal something from Cavendish' plate but backed off when the other threatened him with a fork. Bartolomeo, who literally defeated someone with his pants down while having a pee, who has so far not really shown any sign of recognising anyone as a threat, backing off; telling the viewer that Cavendish someone he percieves as a legitimate threat. At least enough to be careful.

DiamonDust

Nah, me too. It was pretty sick. I thought Jack was gonna say the ship looked awesome tbh, but he hated it haha. Obviously in universe that is not a good thing the ship changed, but I thought it looked really cool.

Uselesskazuma

i do actually find it insane that we are at Dressrosa and you still don't really understand Haki. I'm all here for it lmao
