Hengeyokai QUOTE Every so often a child with an irrepressibly knavish temperament is born to a human family. The vast majority of times the child is just ill-mannered and grows out of it as it ages to maturity. In rare cases, however, this penchant for mischief can be the first sign that the ch...

Overall, I love the feel and features of this race, but it's definitely overpowered. Using the Detect Balance scale, it ranks at a score of 29 even without including Second Skin, which seems quite powerful though I wasn't sure exactly how to rate it. I'd estimate it's worth between 3 and 5 points, though. Since the average race should fall between 24 and 27 on that scale to be considered balanced, I would highly recommend removing at least two of the following: the choice of Strength or Dexterity (reduces rating by 1 point), Second Skin (which would make score before removing something else 29), one of the proficiencies granted by Trickster's Talent (reduces rating by 2), one of the spells from Yokai's Legacy (my suggestion would be Invisibility because that seems like far too good of a spell for a race to have, but removing any spell reduces the rating by 3), or the always active limited Speak with Animals (reduces rating by 2). Here's a link to Detect Balance for reference: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vq1kz6PRAbw5LHy6amH-bNb4OuB8DBXL1RsZROt03Sc/htmlview#

I've never seen Detect Balance, though I have seen a similar system previously (I no longer use it but instead tend to balance races against races they have equivalent or near-equivalent features to).
