Hello, welcome, and thank you patrons!

For April, you chose the volcano dwarf subrace for the dwarf race as your patreon backer exclusive. This is actually a concept I’ve been kicking around for awhile and whenever I thought of it I knew I’d either want to pair it with a tundra dwarf subrace…so I did!  And as birthday present to myself I decided to release these a couple days early. The password to check out these new dwarf subraces is: volcano0419.

Enjoy!

Awesome! I really like them! Just one clarification: With Glacial Pace making them immune to having their speed reduced any further, should that exclude if they are grappled or restrained? I really like that ability (very flavorful) and it's good that it avoids other reductions, but would it make sense to still allow effects that reduce speed to 0 like being grappled or restrained? I like the idea that things like difficult terrain have no effect, however, because you are slow and steady plodding along. :)

Wow! I truly love those dwarves subraces! They're very flavourful ability-wise (Glacial Pace and Living Furnace are wonderful) and the small tidbit of lore makes them easy to drop in and enrich the lore of any campaign settings! Thanks a lot Benjamin for these!

Hmm, I need to think about that. I like the idea that you just can't stop them at all...but that is really potent. Although maybe niche enough that it's fine?
