Skittles would be RARE at a diabetic convention ... unless the diabetics are suicidal. I mean if it was specifically Type 1 diabetics who had too much insulin so need to spike blood sugar, but usually it's type 2 (who have to keep blood sugar low) or type 1 (who have to make sure they don't have too many sugars/carbs so they don't need more insulin shots) so... Suicidal diabetic convention! I didn't realize how awfully some of these great set pieces were treated. You're right. They take a great setting with a great concept and a whole lot of atmospheric storytelling and just fill it with people who want to kill you. GNR building is a perfect example of this. There was so much potential there. DO BETTER, TODD.

It’s ok. It’s understandable how people would think diabetics have skittles. It’s a correlation in the opposite direction: we don’t have skittles because we are Type 2 diabetics. We are Type 2 diabetics because we had too many skittles . Sigh. I miss sweet rolls and Fancy Lads.

Enjoyed it a lot, although I'm not completely with you on the overall take. It's certainly massively overambitious and fizzled on many aspects, but I did find many aspects of the storyline good enough to keep things together. Perhaps it has more to do with expectations than anything else. If you expected "the next Fallout after FalloutNV" then the story is very disappointing, but if you were perhaps OK with a shift towards "Doom, next gen"(which has a decent background story) it would be OK. Also, fallout4 VR is awesome once you load a bunch of mods in there ;)

FO4VR had do much potential but Bethesda just pooped it out and didn't even bother to wipe afterward :( One patch and then it was gone forever. Not even any DLC porting, and the content on that was already done!
