I really liked the nighttime blacksmithing bit, and personally think you should keep it in.

Ah thank you!! It was more I wanted to redo the editing quite a bit as I am not haopy with the flow, but need some more time to work it out..

My only personal complaint is the broad statement about nothing fantastical because that is small hidden dinosaur erasure thank you

I always found political scenes in KCD games immersive, because it added to the feeling of being a part of bigger picture, where you are not The Guy, but not just a random bum as well. Although it does in KCD2 feels sometimes like speedrunning checklisting wikipedia facts.

Wow a chemist doesn't know how to brew a potion. How is your master degree treating you matt

Modus

Really unfortunate to leave out the performance capture scenes from the VA and animations section. Some of that stuff has incredible acting in it. Also how did you not find Kuttenberg? The main story leads you directly to it...

You can reforge Henry's dad's sword and it's one of the best weapons in the game

8:40 - If there's one thing that pisses me off in modern day video games, it's timed choices. By not giving the player the freedom to take their time with making decisions, you're basically saying that their choices aren't important and don't make a difference - which in a lot of these games don't. I call it the TellTale effect, as TellTale's Walking Dead games are what really started this trend.

Madman

the video is just super damn good work

Worth every second of waiting (even though some of the wait time was due to a horrible event).

I don't mind it becasue in real life you usually have to decide stuff in social situations quickly and can thus make bad chocies. The problem I have is when the text takes longer to read than how long you have XD

UpIsNotJump

Aha well I did find it but I found all of Kubeynka's men first, then did some side quests because that quest was a bit boring. So it was a few days later after arriving I got to it, and the pace the game had built so far by then had just stopped. If I'd known it was there though it would have kept the pace going. Saying that I am very stupid

No joke I was really really bad at labs I'd have flunked if the lab technician didn't take pity on me

UpIsNotJump

I found they would repeat themselves a lot in these scenes too. But that is totally fair, it is like part of the game's USP, it just isn't for me. Even in The Witcher 3 which I obviously love, the political stuff in Novigrad got me sleepy

Your poor poor lab partners

I really hope Warhorse tries their hand at a more fantasy oriented game. Having (most) of the KCD mechanics in a world like Tamriel would be awesome.

UpIsNotJump

That's why I bring it up so much! I honestly think they would be great at it

UpIsNotJump

Thank you Stephen :) I'll post a load more goodies relating to this soon The behind the scenes alone will be mental

UpIsNotJump

Yess I did that, I guess I was slightly unclear here, you make that one weapon, and then you are done with blacksmithing hah

UpIsNotJump

Oh the motion capture is great you are right! The issue is that kinda stuff, for whatever reason, doesn't interest me much to talk about. When I write or edit if I find I'm not excited about something I generally just skip or cut it, as it will likely comes across that I am a bit bored, if that makes sense

Stephen Crane

The madness is exactly why I'm here.

9:14 is a joke that I have waited a very long time to see completed haha. This game looks like such a milestone in realism from a design and technical standpoint that I find it a bit spooky when you think about what games are going to be like 10 or 20 years down the line, especially if you can still go around murdering everyone.

Hahah Those are different balloons (I lost them!) but otherwise are the same and from the same shop So they dont float still, someone is off screen pulling them up with a string tied to them
