This is crazy late! Sorry again! I hope an update at least brings some joy! Been trying to get some life stuff sorted out and did a cycle of medication that messed up my mind pretty bad for a while. With luck things will be getting back on track soon! I finally feel mostly like myself again for the first time in ages. Thank you all again.

ALSO such an interesting parallel from earlier in the series where Ganondorf is having anxiety/nightmares about being seen as a man and NOT a pig! It's really sad to see Ganondorf not see the connection of by refuting Vaati's identity, he's also kind of opening himself up to that same scrutiny.

Oh, poor Vaati. And he wasn't even being disrespectful anymore! Ganondorf is just jealous. Man, Zelda needs to have some *words* with her husband about HIS disrespect. And also reassure Vaati. (Both because he needs it, and because he was making actual progress with becoming a better person. And this could easily undo all of that) I do love Midna, here. Just 110% ready to throw down.

NGL, when Vaati was introduced, I didn't ever expect to feel bad for him. Introducing a character as a disgusting creep, only to hit him with a nice dose of the good old Character Development. Well done, me likey! ... can't wait to see how this mess is gonna continue.

If you feel horrible having the typical nightmare in which you find yourself naked in the middle of a presentation, imagine that multiplied by becoming a tiny being surrounded by cruel giants. Poor Vaati... :C... I would feel terrible if this happened to a friend with whom I shared hours of work to create not only a wonderful invention, but with whom I created a great friendship. NGL, If I was Zelda If I were Zelda I would be crying along with Vaati and then go into a murderous rage defending my friend... Ugh... Ganon will have to ask for divine intervention from the three goddesses for Zelda to forgive him.

... wow. Just.... wow. We're in new territory for me, now, discovering chapters I haven't read. And uh... this page has broken my heart like nothing else you've done before. Wow. Ganondorf was being an ass, but this is... horrendous. In fact, it reminds me of when I was a child and I saw Quasimodo being tormented at the Festival of Fools in Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame". That was a formative memory for me, because it was so heartbreaking... and I just had a twinge, an echo of that feeling, reading this chapter. It's uncanny. It's also a testament to your incredible talent.
