I'm from Romania, and on TikTok it was filled with guys crossing the border in the US, and offers for border crossing at around 2-3000$, either from Mexico (the favorit) or Canada. The people who went there were the worst of the worst, going to do illegal stuff (scaming people and posting on TikTok, on what other platform you could do shit like that lol), it was cheap and they made a lot of money, and many hoped to stay there. Now sadly with Trump they will likely come back home. But the people crossing the border were from all around the world, if you got into Mexico you could get into the US, and at first I thought it was republican propaganda, untill I saw all the videos
