Having owned a design and advertising agency for 25 years, TESLA not having a PR team is not a bad idea for today, just like not advertising. Every time the PR team releases a response it needs to get approved by ELON. This is not a good use of ELONs time. Having a PR team is not about the money at all. TESLA could have a a solid PR team for less than $2 million a year (peanuts). The PR team doesn't think like ELON. This is why they got rid of the team altogether. The PR team sends out a press release and the world twists it's words into a negative. The media will do what it does... and TESLA doesn't need to fuel it. Most companies need a PR team to share their message and innovation. TESLA doesn't have this problem. Hell, companies are buying multiple Teslas of the same model - paying full rate and tearing them down. Gary Black is old school and he needs to be held. TESLA has one focus and it's massive scale of production. Period. Hear that Gary?
