Obviously, especially in hindsight, we know it was all a faux crisis, however, you seem to be implying that weimar Germany was NOT in an existential crisis??

Putting this off topic comment in your most recent Q&A. In the past you have asked for suggestions for books to read. I highly recommend "Choke-point Capitalism" by Rebecca Giblin and Cory Doctorow. If you read it please report on your reactions to it. I have been struggling for a long time on a view on how to support the "free market" but not allow the excesses that result when companies get "too" big and still have a "minimalist government. This comes the closest to something that might work as I have seen.
