I like Ross, but this I do not agree with. What could he possibly bring to Tesla that would make it better than it already is? Some may argue that Tesla should advertise or do other things to prop the Tesla name up, but to what benefit? They can't sell more cars than they are already. Improve profit margins? Good luck... Hire better employees? Who? We could continue this for a long time........

It cannot be denied that Musk's extensive sale of Tesla stock (which he surely is entitled to) is a major contributor to the stock price decline. The lack of clarity about further massive sales is the main issue. Not Musk's ability to function as the CEO. He can continue to sell even if retired...
