Dev update #66 (Patreon)

Hi guys.

Very productive week. I finished coding and polishing the third scene, and it's already being translated. The scene I've been working on for the last two weeks takes a lot of time to render, so I had some time to focus on coding and writing more. I almost finished coding the next scene just in two days. And that's despite the fact that I rewrote most of it. It actually happens pretty often. While writing scenes for the first time, I have one picture in my head, but after the art is done, I often change a lot in dialogue. Coz whether it just feels unnatural or just the writing is shit, lol. I know I'm doing double work here, but I can't do anything about it for now. Still trying to figure out and improve my workflow in that area. Writing often relies on my inspiration. I already mentioned how I can write hundreds of lines of dialogue in just one day when I have inspiration. Words just pour out of me. And sometimes it's a few lines in just one week. But even so, it's not always perfect. I really tried to put a lot of attention and improve my writing in this update. 

Anyway, total numbers for now: 696 renders and 18 animations. Posing and rendering are super hard right now as scenes are pretty heavy and take long to render. With current power situation, I only have time to render about 3-5 renders a day. And it's only rendering. For posing work, I often have to start the generator and try to work fast to save gas >_<. For coding and writing, I can use a laptop, so it's fine. And yeah, the power schedule is pretty hardcore, so my sleep regime is also f*cked. Every day I go to bed and wake up at a different time to catch the power times. Here's our power supply schedule. The white cells mean guaranteed power supply hours.

Not whining here. Just sharing this to give you some understanding. And that actually also might be the reason why my art may have a bit lack of quality in some cases. But overall I'm still very scrupulous despite all this mess. So I think you won't even notice it in the end :)

Plans for the next week are the same as usual. Posing, rendering, coding. I also plan to do some post-work for already rendered art. We're slowly but surely getting closer to the end of this update development. My plans on releasing it this month are pretty real.

I do remember I promised you a new outfit poll, I haven't forgotten. Just didn't have time for it. I'll try to post all polls and a new preview next week.
