Dev update #72 (Patreon)

Hi, everyone.

I decided to start writing dev updates on Sundays since it makes more sense to me as I work weekends, and it's the actual end of the week. This render is one of March's special renders for Cathy. You may have missed it if you don't follow me on Twitter or haven't joined my Discord server. The full set is available here. 

This week I focused on several major tasks. I wrote two scenes, posed and rendered static renders and two animations. The main outline is ready, I'll just have to fill it in a bit while writing scenes. As you know, I often make up some stuff while already posing scenes. So my flowcharts and scripts usually change during the whole development.

Current total numbers*: 90 renders and 2 animations.

As for the hardware update. I decided I'll go for a 3090. Primarily coz it's the memory that I need the most, not speed. And upgrading to 4090 will require too much extra spending, which I can't afford right now. My idea is that getting 3090 right now will help me to make this update the way I want. And after its release, I may think about upgrading to 4090. And building a second PC with 3090. I was wrong when I said that I'll be able to build a second PC with my current card, as it just won't render scenes which were made with 24GB GPU memory. I didn't think about that when I was writing my previous post) I hope I'll get it next week and share my impression. 

And one more important change to the game. It concerns russian speaking players. I'll completely remove russian version from the game in the next update. I made that decision long ago, but just wasn't sure it'll work smoothly as the main script files are written in russian. I faced some bugs while trying to do so before and decided I'll focus on it after the release. I just didn't want to rewrite the whole game. Now I did some tests, some changes and looks like it works fine. So bear it in mind. That's my personal position. I just don't want to write in that language.

Next week I plan to pose and render a few lewd animations, finish posing and rendering the first scene and start working on the second. It's a pretty ambitious scene, tho I don't want to spend too much time on it, so we'll see how it goes. Maybe I'll have to cut it a bit. 

I'll also have to work on several new environments and outfits. So you can expect several outfit polls this month. Don't know when exactly. Maybe I'll hold a first outfit poll next week, as well as wallpaper and special renders polls. So stay tuned.
