Dev update #76 (Patreon)

The results I'm getting with 4090 are insane. The scene that took me about 30-40 minutes to render took only 5 mins on 4090. I also finally can fit many characters in one scene without reaching the VRAM limit. This anniversary special render was done without any issues. Tho, I still might hit the limit with lots of clothes and complicated environments. But these scenarios are pretty rare. Will see how it goes in the upcoming big scene, where I plan to include a lot of characters.
I posted an opinion poll on simulation scenes. And it already shows that opinions are evenly divided. I'm leaning toward adding variety, but not much. Like small decisions with a couple of extra renders, so it won't take a lot of time to create but still can make gameplay more diverse and fun.
I finally got my case on Tuesday. Btw, it's Corsair 5000D Airflow and I totally recommend it. The best case I've ever seen and used. I spent a couple of days working on my new PC. Didn't want to rush, plus smart cable management took me more time than I spent on actually building it. And then I did lots of testing, playing with settings and stuff like that to make sure everything works fine and as it should. When I was finally happy with everything, I decided to work on special renders. I did lots of experiments to see how the new GPU will show itself and how different options will affect the quality. So I spent almost the whole day playing with it. This month's special renders turned out to be like candy. Literally :)
Anyway, I returned to posing and rendering only closer to the end of the week and did some progress on this.
Current total numbers*: 221 renders and 8 animations.
*The numbers are approximate.
Now that I'm finally done with all those PC worries, I can fully focus on development. As I mentioned already, I expect May to be super productive. I plan to finish writing for a few scenes including the one in the simulation next week, pose and render all parts of the 3rd scene and return to the 2nd (which is the simulation). Sorry if I confused you with this numbering, I dunno how to reference them otherwise.
That's it for now. Have a nice week and stay safe!
