Been sus, sorry. I know I work in kids camp, not prisoner reform, but the principles are the same - the ones trying to be everyone’s friend aren’t the ones keeping you safe, and (when we study CPS and the like) abusers are less likely to get caught abusing than they are breaking the rules. If friendly guard was genial while maintaining healthy boundaries and upholding the rules, I’d be less the wiser.
