Short page, but I'll try to get more done tonight including sketches :3 BUT I need to talk about this stuff patreon came up with.

I want you guys to know I'm not happy with this at all D: absolutley not! And I'm glad to see many other creators on patreon also don't agree with this new fee stuff. There are many complaints going on on twitter.

At this point I'm just hoping Patreon will listen to us and scrap this idea and keep things the way they are now to keep everyone happy.

Aww that last frame is so beautiful <3 On the fees: it's really upsetting that the creators seem to be the ones getting punished by something that is supposed to "benefit" them since I guess people are dropping their pledges. I will continue to support you even with the fees because you are one of my favorites, but I do hope that they scrap the idea to stop you guys from losing support.

When I heard about the fees I was worried you and a few other artists that I support on here. It’s supposed to “benefit” creators but a lot of them are actually being hurt by this and you guys were even told about beforehand either. I know there lots of people who pledge $1 because they can’t afford more so this is really driving lower pledgers away. I hope Patreon fixes this. It does suck that they added fees but I will continue to support you❤️

Agreed, I think it sucks they didn't consult you guys about it. It's going to hurt you even more when people drop their pledges. I hope they get things fixed. But I love you and I'm not going anywhere. I'll pay whatever I have to!! 😙😙😙

I agree. If they go through with this, a lot of people will stop pledging to creators.

I agree. (I'm so late nuu) but I'm willing to pay a fee to support you. But this isn't very fair. I'm not liking how we have to pay a fee. Someone was talking about this earlier. Creators are losing patrons. I feel bad for them. I hope they cancel fees.

I would also like to put in my 2 cents re the new Patreon fees thing. Personally, I think it's a great idea if it means creators take home more of what they earn. The point of supporting a creator on Patreon is so they get paid to continue creating wonderful things for us, and if they lose 2-10% of their earnings to fees, it's somewhat counter productive. I can understand where a lot of you are coming from when you talk about those who are unable to afford to pledge more, but if you put it into perspective it doesn't work out to be too much. Say a supporter pledges $1 to a creator. With the new changes, they'll be charged $1.38 ($0.35 + $0.029) which is not a huge difference. Of course multiple pledges of $1 will add up and I cannot speak for those people, and I do freely admit I speak from a privileged stance, as I am relatively well off and so some amounts of money don't hold the same value to me as they would someone who is not as well off. For those who pledge higher amounts, one would assume that they are able to afford to pay said high amounts and so able to afford the extra fees. Again, I do speak from a privileged stance. Perhaps introducing the new fees will drive away supporters, but there is also the hope that those creators that stay will somewhat offset the losses there since we will stay and cover the fees normally charged to the creators. And I could also be proven completely wrong and this move could be a financial disaster for Patreon and many of its creators, but from where I stand now, it seems like a good idea. If I've somehow offended anyone with my assumptions and such, I sincerely apologise. It was accidental and I've tried my best to word it passively.

It punishes those of us who support lots of creators, 18 of them at various levels. That adds up and I won't be able to add another creator or two. I'm concerned about Kuro's happiness...he just jinxed himself. But if he loves Momo as much as he says then he'll understand why Momo would start out wanting to hurt Kuro. Kuro was really mean to Momo. As long as he believes Momo is in love with him now he should forgive him. Unless Momo leaves Kuro because he doesn't think he deserves Kuro's love without telling Kuro why he leaves him...then Kuro will have a right to be mad and hurt... sigh...

I am going to close my account in Patreon because I think this new fees are unfair and I am not willing to pay them. I would like to know if there are another means outside Patreon to support you Lucazu.

nobody ever complained about having to pay fees as creators though, it's always been that way and makes sense to me. It may not be a huge difference but yeah it does add up. And the way they just shove this onto us was unfair as well. Like any creator on patreon I'm happy with patrons and knowing that patreon wants to charge them more than they should doesn't sit well with me. For now we can only hope it won't indeed be a disaster.

yes, that bothers me a lot too... charging people for every pledge is just blegh and a stab in the back to those who pledge to many creators. And you're right about Kuro, he would understand, sure he'd be upset but he loves momo so they'd work it out. But Momo is just too afraid he will ruin everything, he doesn't know what's the right thing to do.

I totally understand, it definitley is unfair. I hope patreon realized what a bad move this was and appologizes. Outside of patreon I'm thinking of starting up on a tip reward system on tapas again, a few days ago I noticed tapas made it easier to keep track of tips :)
