Theory of why they went to bed angry: In chibi form, as shown when Mr. Fruitloopy was introduced, Kuro has no fingers thus he cannot wear rings. Not that that matters to Momo. Momo took great offense that Kuro is not able to wear the plastic engagement ring thus beginning an impossible argument. Kuro blurted out how silly Momo was being which he is sensitive to after years of being called dumb by his peers. And so began the blanket war which quickly ended by a Kuro peace treaty nuzzle ~~
