The problem with polyam is that people don't seem to do it right. They think 'sleeping with anyone' is what poly is and that isn't it. So that's my only beef with it. Hardly anybody does it right. THey use the premise as an excuse to sleep around on their partner. When poly is supposed to be a mutual binding relationship with more then 1 person accepted by all other people in the relationship. It's just the same as cheating really if people just sleep aroudn with unknown people . Which is what most ppl i know that 'say' they are Poly do. :*(
