Star Sapphire Concept Doodle (Patreon)

I recently was tricked into thinking I got a job by some identity thieves. I thought I could work on something fun and indulgent to try and fend off the sad brain from the everything in life going poorly, but alas no luck. 

I tried something weird here rendering wise. I like how the background turned out, but the coloration I think may've been a bust. I wanted it to look sketchy and 'blurrish' I guess? Like, a flash of light, but well.. it definitely comes across as sketchy, on account of being a sketch effectively. Idk guys, its just sad vibes over here rn.
