***UPDATE it seems things are working ok for most people now but if you have any issues accessing your copy just send us a PM on Patreon and we'll get back to you ASAP***

Good evening everyone! 

Your free download of our new album URN has been sent to you about an hour ago but quite a few people have been having issues accessing the dropbox links.

I have double checked and reset all the links and passwords and still they are working for some and not for others due to "too many attempts". It seems that Dropbox's security system has freaked out with so many people trying to access the link at the same time and blocked people from accessing it.However, it is working for some people and so if it doesn't work for you right now, take a deep breathe, go get a coffee and come back and check a little later on and hopefully it works for you then.

Please also check to make sure you are trying to access the correct link for the password you have been given as there is a different one for each level.

It's 1:40am here in Melbourne and I have to get up in about 6 hours to get my daughter up and off to Kindergarten so I'm off to bed finally but I will check back in the morning and if anyone is still having issues I'll make sure each and every one of you have been able to access the album before the end of the day.

One last thing....if you just signed up in the last couple hours your name may not be on the document list, but if you message us we'll send you the code personally.

Dropbox's main purpose is to share files between your own personal devices (computers, laptops, etc) or between a few friends, or co-workers. It's not really meant to upload and share with thousands of people, which is probably why it says too many attempts: to save bandwidth. Whenever you get a chance, if you don't mind, you should try a file sharing platform meant for a high volume of downloads, such as Mega.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't band camp for selling music? I don't know if they have an option to upload a private album and release it for free to certain people.

Dear people, just have a little patience, everyone will get the album, the guys are always keeping their promises...and do some math too, it's around 4 AM now in AU...they do sleep..

I did some more research and a bit of testing. Mega would work for what they want to do, but unfortunately they recently added a stricter bandwidth quota. The more data sent from a file sharing host's servers to people's computers, the more money they use, so I doubt there is anything out there that's free and will allow all the patrons to download the album. It's strange that Patreon doesn't include a way to download files, free of charge, based on patron levels.

OK---- so I'm awake and back at it. For a SHORT TIME I have simply disabled the passwords for the Neophye & $1 level dropbox accounts. This is not ideal for security of the codes so I can't leave it like that for long but I don't want people being held up longer. If you just signed up and haven't gotten a code yet that's because I can't send stuff whilst I'm asleep as much as I'd like haha but will check through new members now and send stuff out :-) - Tim

Patreon not allowing to host music is definitely a downside but I believe it is something they may introduce in the future which would be AMAZING. The music for these files is actually being hosted via BANDCAMP, it's only the codes that are in the dropbox. We use them all the time and often send to dozens of people at a time without issue, even more than that... but have definitely not had so many people trying to access a link at the same time as a few hours ago hence why not aware of any potential issues. It seems like everything has settled down a bit now after the initial rush though thankfully and I guess in the future we'll look into additional options to make delivery as smoother as possible for fans :-) - Tim

I was mistaken. I thought the album itself was in dropbox. I tried a few paste websites such as PasteBin, but none of them seemed to meet the requirements you guys are looking for. I'd recommend checking out Mega (formerly MegaUpload). It has the same features as dropbox in terms of folders, file uploads, etc. but is meant for sharing files with multiple people, unlike Dropbox. As far as I can tell, it has a 200mb per hour bandwidth limit so if you're just hosting .txt files, it shouldn't have any problem serving them over their network. Hmm, for some reason my Neophyte code only provided me with the 3-track preorder preview on Bandcamp, not the whole album. Has anyone else had this problem?

You have to actually download the album to get the whole thing. The website/app will only play those three tracks until the album's official release.

I have entered the code at the season of mist Bandcamp and been sent a link from them. When I follow that link it says that another emails has been sent to me from Bandcamp but I haven't received this e-mail?

Hey Keaghan, you should just be able to download the album directly from Bandcamp without getting sent anywhere else as per normal purchases on bandcamp, just that it's free with the promo code basically. Hey Tim. I think something may have gone wrong during the redemption process as I didn't have a Bandcamp account before I clicked on the link I got from seasons of mist. I haven't received any confirmation email from bandcamp with regards to me "purchasing" the album amd so it isn't listed as something I've purchased. Not really sure what to do :/. If worst comes to worst I'll just wait until next week. I've been meaning to sign up for a while now anyway :).

Hi all, if anyone feels like they're in a download link loop, there's a tiny url where you can download the files directly to a .zip folder. On the Code Redeemed! page, look below and to the right of the box referring to the iOS and Android apps. It should say Download: Urn (Pre-Order). By clicking that link, it initiates the download of the .zip folder. Hope that helps!

You don't need to get any emails, once you put in the code the code redeemed page pops up and download button is in the bottom right

Patreon modifies the URL in the link to be a tracked forwarding link via email.patreon.com, but this breaks the Dropbox URL. Copy and pasting the URL displayed in the email instead of clicking works.
