Not entirely connected to Urn itself, but meeting a lot of the Ne Obluminati during the Urn tours is probably my highlight of the album. And my connection with Intra Venus! That song.. Opened up something in me that I didn't know existed. In a good way.

I remember me being confused after the first listen. Like „wait, is it already over?“ 😂 I discovered you around the time the Intra Venus video was published and opposed to a lot of people here, Urn was my ticket into the NeO universe. Alone for this it will always have a special place in my heart. And, as you know, the things that came with it, changed a lot for me. I love it, from first note to the last. 🖤

It just so happened that I went for a weekend trip there after you pre-released the album to the Patreon supporters and I was binge-earing it all day long. The friday after I presented my Master Thesis (about bioinformatics and cancer genetic data).

My memories of Urn are mainly all the travelling to see you live (especially traveling to manchester/london), meeting other ne obluminati for the first time. Here's to another album, more tours, and hopefully cross off my bucket list item of seeing NeO in Romania!

My first introduction to NeO was definitely the Urn release. I only discovered you guys because I contemplating flying to Europe (I live in Texas) to see Ihsahn. I had a small window between shifts that I could make it happen but was having a hard time justifying the trip. You guys were opening up for him and I thought if I liked your music I would make the trip. Well Urn and the rest of your catalog definitely made an impression on me. However I waited too long to start listening to your music and my opportunity to travel passed. It remains one of my biggest regrets. Thank you for making awesome music. I'll see you live eventually.
