So earlier in March before the whole world into lockdown, Dan was in the USA tracking drums for our new album - and he got it done just in time to make it back home in Melbourne before everything here went into lockdown. Here is an update from him of the whole process and the various levels of crazy that went down.

We will have more updates for you soon. Hope you're all staying safe.

Sadly reality already caught up with that video..... 💔 It'll take a bit longer for the album to see the light of day, but I'm confident, too, that it will be worth it and amazing.🖤

Thanks for the update! We're ready to shower you with love and appreciation once the music is out, and hopefully to re-energize you! Soundtrack of Doom - sounds promising

Thank you for all the really hard and draining work you and the band do to please and exceed expectations of all us Metal heads out there! There’s no doubt about it that we’ll show up at all of the next shows - NeO’s music is just absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to buy an awesome LP of the next album as well, hopefully supporting you pretty well in the process (hope you’ll get a decent cut of that revenue). Am stoked to see what this new album holds - it was a great video update Dan! Keep spirits high, and all stay safe

We all appreciate the dedication you guys put into your music, making things work and working hard to put full effort into the new album. Can’t wait for the new album. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for all your hard work and dedication, Dan!! Can't wait to listen to the new album, even if it takes a few more years to get finished....

Thanks for the update Dan. As you acknowledged at the end, you don't typically say much or haven't done so historically and to hear your thoughts and perspectives on this recording process - and the difficulties surrounding it - was really refreshing. If there's one thing I learnt from this, it's just how humble you seem to be and to be open to feedback and criticism so that you can continually strive forward and improve is really admirable. I am sure the efforts will be worth it and the "soundtrack of doom" will be another exceptional piece of timeless art. Thank you.

Great video, Dan! Those snippets sound heavy as fuck.

Maxime Dugué

Thanks Dan for this video. I think it's really nice to be able to see all the details about it and the hard truth.

William Magill

Thanks for the update, really interesting hearing about it from the inside!

I hadn't managed to comment on this before, Dan. Thank you so much for the update. Sounds like this is going to be a very special record. It was good to hear you talk a bit more than usual on what is going on from your perspective. I hope your loved ones on 2 and four legs are well now. Stay safe!
