Hi everyone!

As I know is the case in many places around the world, where we live here in Melbourne, Australia it is now mandatory anytime you leave the house to wear a face mask and we've been told it'll likely be that way for a long time. 

So Xen has done up a couple of potential designs (see link or attachment below) and we wanted some feedback from The Ne Obluminati in regards to if you would buy one and if so which design you prefer? 

(Note: If you like both you can select more than one option in the poll!)

My answer is more nuanced, really. So to help you, ill probably buy, but it would depend on my personal economy and whether or not it would be full on mandatory over here (Oslo, Norway). I put myself on that I'd buy the logo one, as that is the one I'd be most interested in :) Great initiative!

I like the Forget one better. The logo one would look better if the logo was either off center or maybe had Ne Obliviscaris running through it. As it is now it reminds me of someone having a ball gag in their mouth.

As a fellow Melburnian, this latest must-have - read "mandatory" - fashion accessory causes so much angst - will it go with my latest outfit, especially if I wear anything but black? 😆 Xen's tasteful options are clearly aimed at these fashion conscious ones. On a serious note, are these double or triple layered? Would proudly wear either 🤘

I love you guys! But i wouldn't wear a mask with a logo or design. Unless Xen comes up with some plague doctors masks... leather custom made. :p

Since we don’t have to wear a mask here in The Netherlands I wouldn’t buy one but when I would then it would be the logo one. Best regards and stay safe and healthy!

The logo one is looking rather good ! Minimalist and elegant; honestly great. I couldn't go to uni or work wearing either or them though, but I'd buy one to support you! ...no vegan leather "Plague Doctor" design option though ?... The outrage.

As long as they were triple layer as suggested here in melbourne I would buy both. Though as my wife has found sizing would be my largest concern.

The one with the O ... looks like a bondage mask :p Masks here are not mandatory, voluntarily used indoors and masks are the kind of item once the pandemic is over will not be usable. So I'll skip this.

Love both designs but preference to Forget Not for uniqueness. My ice hockey team in Canberra had some cool custom masks made in Melbourne by Kridgett Kreations who does our jerseys.

Both are beautiful. But unlike shirts, I like masks that are a bit moderate. So I would buy the logo one, but the logo would be better of it was on the side instead of the center like people already said 😄

I'd like to share your optimism, but I can't... After this pandemic is just before the next one, and this one if far from over. We better get used to masks.

... not yet. I bet you will have to once autumn comes and people are more indoors, stuffed and crowded. It felt very unsafe when I visited NL a few weeks ago. The waiters didn't wear masks and sure came closer than 1,50. I didn't want to do any shopping with people indoors without masks... and NL has much higher infection rates per capita than DE...

Here in RO the mask is mandatory in all closed spaces (stores, malls, offices, ecc), crowded ones, buses, trains, cars, I never leave the house without masks ( yes, I always have a spare in case someone may need it or mine breaks). I would always go for black, but the Forget Not one is nice too. Plus, I think (and I am guessing it's not just me) if I am to place an order with Impericon, I am to buy at least 2 products to justify that delivery fee. So....bear in mind this little detail too.

I'm in on the logo, and glad to see that you're also making one were it's not centeret. I would also be interested in buying more than one, if Xen have other ideas for design. Thus I would only by black/white or black/red ones.

The designs are great, but for me the important thing is the material. Could they be surgical masks? Cotton? Neoprene?

As a few people have already said, logo off centre is a good idea. Smaller and completely to one side would look great. On the opposite side and down low have ‘NeObliviscaris’.

I like the minimalistic design of the logo mask, but maybe write “NeO” on it and the “O” is the logo and “Ne” is slightly faded out in a gray color? Just playing with the thought. If the price wasn’t insane I’d probably buy both since they’ll be some unique items. Do think of that people might be bringing and wearing these at concerts in the future - not because they have to - but as a statement of support and design. Should consider some designs that would look cool in a group of people. Maybe some design items from the Citadel and Portal album covers, like the insinuated skulls?

I do also think a more art-coloured look would be good - I'm thinking here of the background bits of the three albums. The white and red smoke from the top of Portal of I; the smoky blue-white of Citadel; the flaming yellow red behind the black hole of Urn.

Here in Sweden its not mandatory to wear facemask! But i dont go anywhere without mine in the handbag/car and always have extras incase someone needs! I think that international traveling by air/train etc now and in the future will demand facemask! So yes i would by the logo one!

Masks are mandatory here in South Africa, but our borders are still closed, so overseas mail is not coming in, or getting stuck at the harbours. When we have something resembling a working postal service I'll buy one. *sigh*

I must wear one all day, everyday, but has to be a solid color, can they be made reversible black? I also agree with designs/logos on the side. A man wore a mask with a picture of the lower half of his own face and it turned heads, not in a good way

I love them both, and I would buy both for shipping fee reasons. That being said, I would prefer the logo O somewhere on the side as well, or the complete NeObliviscaris on one side. Also, the idea of having designs from other artwork sounds pretty good.
