Would you guys like to see/hear some updates as I go along? (Stupid question I know...haha)

Vocal Booth Setup!

Yeah, for sure! By the way, I love the DIY approach to recording.

Anarmir

Totally lost about what those mattresses are for…

Chintan

Yeah, for sure!!

100%

Good to see you (re-) starting! I'll try to send you an e-mail later... ;-)

Dina

This must be the most badass vocal booth ever 😄 And of course I would also be interested in more updates!

Tina

To be honest? No. The only update I want to hear about is the release date. It's just been too long. It's now been 2 years since Dan recorded drums. No, nothing was your fault, but still. This feels like dragging a dead horse home. I'm not even excited about this album anymore, not sure if I'm still interested in this band. 😔

Anarmir

lol! By all means!!!

Wait does Tim really record vocals in his house and not in a professional booth?? That’s incredible

I'll do a video sometime soon explaining the setup :-) - Tim

real question, and i mean no harm - have you ever written and completely released an album in a band before? the process is usually painstakingly long. and this isn't even close to the longest its taken for NeO to release something... bands often take 5 years or longer inbetween albums...

Tina

No, sweetie, I haven't, but I have a job as well, and deadlines and clients with expectations. But sure, stay patient. It will be worth the wait. In the meantime I'll go and listen to other bands. This isn't the only band that makes complex and innovative music.

Oncill

...right. And so do they. i'm an independent musician as well and navigating through everything necessary to create an album (much less an album of such scale as this) is one of the most entirely daunting and consuming tasks i can imagine. i don't blame them for the time it takes, and i don't think impatience is helpful, even if warranted, no matter how long the wait.
