ARTWORK by Xen

What even can we say about 'Exul'.... every band says their new album is their best. But this one really is something special and it really feels like step up for us in every way. We poured every bit of ourselves into making this record. It almost broke us. At times we feared it may never get completed. But we kept working until our vision was finally complete. And now you don't have to wait long to hear some of it!

Our first single 'Equus' is out December 6! A nice average length NeO song coming in at 12 minutes, music video and all. December 6 will also see the launch of pre-orders for EXUL and we have tons of amazing merch (all designed by Xen) included once more a limited edition vinyl that will be available just for Ne Obluminati members. Details on all that will be revealed in the coming days!

PLUS we are also going to be hosting some live preview parties online just for Ne Obluminati members this weekend where you'll get to hear our new single before anyone else in the world! We are doing two of them so that wherever you are in the world and whatever your timezone may be- hopefully you can make it!

These preview parties will be available to all $5+ members! Details below:

'EQUUS' PREVIEW PARTY #1:

Sunday, Dec 4 @ 9AM AEDT  (AU)

Saturday, Dec 3 @ 11pm CET (EU)

Saturday, Dec 3 @5pm EST (USA)

'EQUUS' PREVIEW PARTY #2:

Moss HD

Of course like anyone else I want to hear it but the cover art was also one of the things I was most excited to see since it was such a mystery this whole time, and this SERIOUSLY delivers.

Moss HD

Also congrats : )

Sven Bröker

This would’ve been such a great birthday present in November, but non the less: LET‘S F*CKING GO!

Benjamin Ong

Inbar Hasson

So excited! Amazing artwork, maybe even Xen's best so far. Can't wait for the single and I'll be sure to order every vinyl variant! Hopefully I can snag a test press to add to the collection - already have Citadel and Urn.

Jon Whitehead

Artwork is stunning, how awesome will it look on a flag or poster!

Ainesh Sevellaraja

The artwork is so beautiful! I can’t wait for the single

Tina

Congratulations!🤘🖤 So you chose the longest song for the single....?🤔 Looking forward to the listening party. Will you post some sort of link tomorrow? Zoom? Soundcloud?

Tina

It's usually a Vinyl in a special colour, not special artwork.🤷‍♀️

Jeanette King

Can't wait for the album & to hear the first track. Well done getting it finished with all the obstacles over the past few years.

Kyle McMullan

Wow this looks amazing Are there a few nods to previous album covers or am I reading too much into it?

Bethany

That artwork 😍 Can't wait guys, so glad it's done. Looking forward to hearing it!

Joseph A'Hearn

The album artwork is amazing! I'm very excited for this new album!

Moss HD

I noticed the album track names engraved onto the blade as well as Forget Not onto the hilt. So many sneaky details on this piece (spiders... I count 3, or... 4 if the legs splitting through the being in the center is a giant one?!). Again, kudos on this piece Xen. Forgive me for geeking out, ha.

Gus Pirie

Super excited - it’s been worth the wait !!!

Mat

Wonderful artwork! I can't believe there is a track named Graal! Wonderful!

Val

Oh wow, that's breathtaking. I have the sudden need to stare at that cover and kill my eyes detailing it. Worthy wounds. <3 It's such amazing news! Thank you so much for sharing it! And congratulations on the journey you've gone through to bring this album to completion. ❤️

Simone Reddell-Ducrot

Sick album cover! CAN NOT WAIT for the euro tour 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Simoneedle

The artwork is truly amazing, congrats to xen! I love how the wind seem to be alienating all the world of the exul. I'm so glad you did it, i think you have been on the receiving end of some undeserved criticism lately and i believe what you deserve is a well placed album that pushes you in the spotlight and due recognition for your art (we can't just think of the music i guess) is profound, visionary and unique and i have mad respect for your work

Chrysoar

I hope youve got shirts ready with this cover art on it.

Dina

The cover is so beautiful, and I'm sure the music is as well! As I'm from Europe I'll try to attend both listening parties. Hearing the song once just won't be enough

Mat

Pd: how did you manage to tour during my exams and do the listening party while I'm in Poland?? 😂😂

Eva

Xen, you really outdid yourself here. Congratulations🖤. This is something that needs to hang on a wall, as big as possible. Hope you guys have some posters planned. 🤞🏻

Eva

Also I am really looking forward to the preview. Another great thing to be exited about this weekend ✨

Jasper Kwak

Can't believe you guys are coming to Dublin! Finally get to see the music performed live! Any chance you're sticking around and also playing the Graspop festival in Belgium in June???

Francisco Lopez

When's the vinyl pre-order??? 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Elliot Cole

im in tears... i have simply waited too long.

Laurie Andrews

Beautiful artwork Xen, I am definitely excited. I have been out of the loop a bit with music for a while now and with keeping up with things here etc. My mom passed away in March and that really changes life. It looks like one of your parties is on her birthday conicidentally. Also the release date is the day before mine. It seems meant to be. I can't wait. I'm really proud of you all for pushing through this during covid and those trying times.

Noam Barnea

I don't like the artwork. It's ok, I don't like the artwork of most of the albums I love 😉 I know the music is great.

Ne Obliviscaris

Sorry to hear about your Mother, hope you’re doing ok

Ne Obliviscaris

Completely valid, not everyone can like the same thing!

Kevin Sheehan

Concerning the vinyl pre-order: will times be announced as to when they go live? I know you posted different time zones for listening to the first single- will that be done for the vinyl preorder?

Mat

Now it would be nice if Xen made a video explaining the cover and how he did it. So just as an idea 😇

Laurie Andrews

Thank you! It's a process...and of course, things trigger sadness. I'm doing my best and trying to find solace in art, nature, etc. I'm sure this music will be healing also as usual.

Elliot Cole

this album art very much competes with portal of i btw. which blows my mind. i really didnt think you could top that one for me. thank you Xen! 🖤🖤

Ne Obliviscaris

Yes it will, though we're aiming to have all the pre-orders start the same time on Dec 6. We'll post them here on Patreon a day or two before so people can plan accordingly. - Tim

Aurelie Bovi

Amazing art work! I can't wait to hear the first single - and the whole album (in time). Got tickets for Manchester today. Cannot wait to see you again [and Xen I am so looking forward for the rest of your projects too].

Liam Ainsworth

I really can’t wait to, erm, hear the new single…
